has Jomez ever thought of getting styluses so that the commentators can circle, make arrows, or draw funny pictures over the coverage? This would be similar to what they do when analyzing football plays for the NFL or college broadcasts with the iconic yellow. A good place would be showing on hole 7 from the Aerial shot where that second landing zone is that they are aiming for. Just a thought.

This would be a cool idea the only thing is that the jomez editors break down the footage and add the score overlay with all the slomez and follow flights and OB symbols and all of everything BEFORE jerm and everyone commentates. Pretty much the commentators are just watching what we’re watching and we are hearing an overlay of them talking. So they aren’t actually recording the footage as they talk, they’re just recording themselves talking and then splicing it. So to include what you’re talking about would have to have a whole extra editing step including rerecording the event footage with the “styluses.”

@@jakereedholm7201 I'm familiar with how they do the editing and commentating. However, so long as software exists where the footage can continue through markings, the commentators should be able to just write on their iPad (or whatever they use to watch) to better describe areas on the screen that they are talking about. From there, the upload should be relatively painless as no further editing is required from initial splicing of all the clips. All the hard editing would be done, there would just be commentary on the final edit with markings as well.

If I ever want to show someone Disc Golf coverage for the first time, Having Brian in the booth is perfect. Straight-forward, easy to understand commentary. Love this combo, especially with Jerm doing the no-spoilers thing!

Anytime you need a new commentator to mix in, I've really enjoyed Brian's style. I think these two work well together, and Brian is just goofy enough to keep it light with Jerm, but also indulges his love for exploring the details (that he often gets teased for in practice rounds) I feel like I'm learning a lot about disc golf listening to these two do commentary together.

I'm going to disagree, Brian is good for live coverage but to me Jomez has always been more light and fun, and I'm not feeling the chemistry. Honestly I'd love to see a Simon or Gregg type player fill in, I think they'd fit the vibe better.

Brian did an excellent job. Really enjoyed his commentary and knowledge during the coverage. Jerm and Brian had great chemistry in my opinion. Another great product for Jomez! Look forward to hopefully seeing Brian in the booth again

Huge factor with rain is slipping. Totally changes the way you have to run up, not to mention grip problems. Even a tiny bit of water cab make you release early. Mix that with it being the final round and the pressure of the final round will have an great impact on performance

I know the adverse weather really affects the players' timing, throws etc but for a Jomez practice round, I'd like to see a "speed" or "turbo" round where the players have to throw each shot as quickly as possible. No imaging lines or anything, just pick your disc & throw it ASAP.

Cool intro! I really think Jerm is the best commentator. I used to think he was just goofy and adding colour, but he can do it all and always seems to bring out the best of whoever he's with. I don't think other commentators are as flexible and adaptable as Jerm.

The rain is making the ground impossibly slick. They aren’t able to hit huge distances. And it’s all relative to the other players. Maybe they are feeing like safe is the better play. Because a good offense sells tickets, a good defense wins games. If they defend their lead, and the way others are playing too, they might just want to get through the round as fast as possible.

Jomez: I like the overhead views of the players' disc positions, but showing white names and lines together with OB in black and white, results in the white names and lines being sometimes difficult to discern. I suggest a more stand out colour for the names and lines.
