I'm so hype about this bike. When the SFV4 came out I was like.. cool, but then when the V2 revealed I was like "this is it". Personally, I think the SF suits the V2 engine rather than the V4. I think I'm gonna trade in my 821 hyper for the SFV2 in some years for sure.

Longer swing arm than the Panigale, add handlebars instead of clip ons, more torque at the low end due to gearing, and a bigger gas tank than the V4… it is worth every ounce gained and the 2hp you give up. And…go buy the wings for $300. I’m loving it!

Great 'To the point review'.. I've just put a deposit on a Streetfighter V2 (due in Australia in March 2022) Now looking forward to the next few summer months saying goodbye to my MT10.

Man I love the v4 but the pricing on this one v2 and the way it was designed to ride in the streets effortless it’s so good cuz v4 is pretty much for track and way more expensive I’d go for v2.

Yeah, the V2 should be more usable on the streets. 99% of riders won't be able to make full use of the V4 on public roads. Even if you could, the law won't be forgiving!

This bike hits the sweet spot for me. The other hyper nakeds are too much really for the road and they eat tyres and drink fuel at a scary rate. It looks sleeker and cleaner than the V4 SF [probably due too no wings]. The loss of 2 hp is thanks to Euro 5 [ahhhh]. The slight extra weight is probably down to the bigger heavier Cat. Still it should be a stonking road bike and a cut above the MT09, KTM 890, ST 765RS and the Kawi Z900. I am seriously looking at buying one next year. Can't wait to see and test ride one asap.

I have a 2021 black SF V4S but I have to say the SFV2 is a good looking bike. I think they should have added 2 wings to it to distinguish it from the V4 models.

When you take the winglets off there is a giant hole in the frame, someone would need to create a block-off plate to fix that.

$939 freight + $255 dealer prep + $299 doc fees added to order the Streetfighter V2. Dealers have decided to be absolute a-holes. Wouldn’t even budge a dollar.

Hi. I know you have experience putting money down for a bike? Do I get an out the door price at the point of putting the money down? I don’t want to be shocked by additional fees after the bike arrives and the money becomes non-refundable

So it depends on if the price for the bike has been unveiled or not. When I put money down on the Streetfighter V4, I had no idea what it would cost but gave them $1k to hold one. When I put a deposit on my Panigale V2 I was able to get the final price (tax, msrp, et) when I went to the dealer to hand them the check for a deposit.
