WelleDad is so new, similarly to KFC, that I think it's definitely going to rise in representation over time - most certainly a case of 'tournaments before it existed make up most of the data pool'. The synergy wasn't even implemented until a few months back. Frogs also just redesigned their deck again in the last few weeks, Frogslicer put up some videos of it at RBET Rulers. While Blackwing and Vayu Turbo are kind of shaping/filtering the meta right now, that was kind of the case with Diva Hero a year or two ago, and I would not be shocked if things shift again - and diversity is still very much there as well as new and evolving decks. So I think things are far from solved, and there's a promising future for the format! :)

Amazing video. I really enjoyed it. Just one tip, if you want high-res cards for the editing, the ygoprodeck ones are pretty good and will seem more "cohesive" than just grabbing stuff off random sources.

frogs is overperforming since very few people are on it and it's topping quite a lot. anyway my take is bw is the strongest deck,can't be sided against and a good blackwing player can overtake frogs easily,especially with the right side.

I built my old rock stun deck from high school and dueled a friend yesterday. I really missed playing yugioh with multiple turns

Rock stun is pretty good. It’s a shame that sandman isn’t legal yet. My teammate Joyboy has a Rock Stun list with a small dark calling package to summon Dark Gaia

why doesnt the machina deck at the end main cyber dragon? surely it would be fine to discard for fortress if going first

If you ever summon cyber dragon, it locks you out of summoning your other machines unless you have an OTK or until your cyber dragon gets answered (since your opponent can use it with your monsters to make fortress dragon). And just having a machine to discard for fortress is a bit underwhelming. It’s often best to pitch fortress with fortress (guaranteeing that one of them is going to hit the GY and not be banished) and then revive the other fortress with machina force. I think cydra is definitely playable if you’re running Eltanin though, because you need light machines.

In blackwings you can play rivalry and gozen eradicator virus it's just stupid and if you really wanna be cheeky you play 3 upstarts if needed to be

That meta will never be solved. The number of playable traps in those decks are so numerous it will actually take several life planet to solve them.

I personally think you could kinda say its solved, I dont think BW will ever be really dethrowned and zombies seem like they are up for a stay there as well, be it with diva or psychics. One thing which is probably not easy to get hold of but would be important to know for a better understanding of how effective BW is, is to know what decks get played how often. If BW gets played by more than 50% of the players then having 21% of the top spaces isnt as impressive as if it were 20% of players playing BW

Edison is seeing a surge of new players at the moment and BW is easy to pick up. There's no denying that it's a good deck, but I don't think it's the best. Edison probably doesn't have a best deck.
