Great video! So basically you have to tear the whole front apart to get to those rivets. I have a 2022 Skandic fortunately I don't go too fast so I'll take my chances without the skid plate. LOL

I'm a Registered Maine Guide. I take clients ice fishing, so I haul a lot of gear. My Skandic is a perfect sled for this the wide track and the pogo front suspension doesn't get bogged down in the slush very common on the lake. I have no need to go super-fast but need the power to get me where many other sleds dare not to go. @blackbear8857

Nice job. Wondering if you Spring Order a G4 sled with the skidplate as an accessory if they would install at the factory? Seems like a larger job to install that item.

Yeah if u spring order and include it in your order they fully assemble your order at the dealer but if you just get a dealer to order and install on an already owned machine brp calls it a 4 hour job

I PDI skidoo snowmobiles and if they want accessories on the new sled we put it on for the customer, most places now are charging a fee to put accessories on new machines as well as old because of the time involved with some. We don't charge yet to add accessories or get payed from factory.

I have something similar I don’t like it the body looks feels aluminum I just broke my bumper using it as a hitch flimsy even if I get a heavy duty hitch it’s hooks to the aluminum body looks like it could just rip off it’s gotta hold on everywhere just to hold up didn’t even notice a hitch on this skidoo how’s he supposed to pull out his kill if he uses that bumper with any real weight or just in the cold it will snap then all that work you just did will have to be redone I’m sure a lot of people have this problem I know it’s not my first time the old skidoos hitch and body were solid

Hi really nice job all around. Which gun boot holder did you get? I have the xtreme, but website says the linq holder wont go on the xtreme? If you could tell me where to get those parts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Everything installed was BRP Linq attachments

Was that the ds 2 skin? I have the same machine and the skis are ds 3's. My dealer never said the ds 2 skin would fit.

I am not exactly sure what they were. The customer brought all the parts for this one, and he got what the dealer told him he needed.

i just spring checked a 23 im already anxxious to get it but too far away to think about it. im hoping the 23 comes with the split screen display. any thoughts or know about that?

Where did you get the bushings for the gun boot holder to go in the bumper.

I have bins full of nuts, bolts, bushings, and other junk i deem possibly useful, but a simple bushing could be picked up at any hardware store i would think

@@dabraapshack8754 didn't need one on my expedition le model with heavy duty bumper I just drilled a hole in it and left out the plastic piece that came with the mount.

@@leesmith9942 yeah thats what the instructions said but they showed a rectangular bumper with a flat face, this bumper did was not rectangular at all, it was 5 sided so there was not flat surface to mount to
