Saying the Netherlands didn't qualify for the last WC and Wales not qualifying for 50 years, is relative. The qualifying group in North America is easy, qualifying from Europe is the most difficult route to the World Cup of them all. Reining European Champions, Italy, didn't qualify for the World Cup this time around. If the USA had to qualify playing European teams, they would never make it to the World Cup and be lucky to win a single match.

Ya I don’t really care about the U.S. team but to say they would fancy their chances against the Netherlands is, honestly, insane.... all of their players play in the best leagues for the biggest teams, it’s the best squad they have had in a decade. The only chance the U.S. would have against them is if the Netherlands implodes and underachieves... just go player for player.... it’s not even in the same realm of talent... Senegal is good too so I think the chances are slim for the U.S. getting past the round of 16 IF they get out of the group

Correct, and IMO, Holland are even too much for England on their day (and I say that as an Englishman). If you recall the Nations League semi-final, which wasn't THAT long ago, we were supposed to win that but they were way better than us. USA really do have their head in the clouds. They're in for a shock, even against the likes of Wales and Iran who are no pushovers.

Europe has owned the World Cup so I’m surprised with all the basil and Argentina fav talk. 2006 Italy/ 2010 Spain/ 2014 Germany / 2018 France. All 4 of those tournaments mighty Brazil got beat by a European team including 7-1 at home to Germany. The others they lost in quarters. Argentina NEVER beats Germany in a World Cup. The most difficult thing to do in our sport is dribbling 6 players then score a goal , then dribbling 5 and score a goal , then dribbling 4 and score a goal then dribbling 3 and score a goal then dribbing 2 and score a goal then dribbling 1 and score a goal then making the key pass , the pass or the touch that destroyes the defence Then u have the score goal after all of them , not that important really.

Im from Argentina, and I feel like England has a really good team. A mix between vets and young. I feel like France and England are the best teams in Europe. I dont feel to confidence in my team cauae we got older on offense, but our defense is really good, same as our midfield, but we have a coach with little experience in the tough games. It seems like Nick did some solid research and he seems to be somebody who does take some time in between football and basketball to stay up to date with world football. Not sure whether Chris was scripted to ask about Harry Kane, but it was great all three were involved in the discussion. It’s awesome FTF took some time on the World Cup and give some love to our USMNT. Colin Cowherd has given some love to soccer the last few years and put some spotlight into the World Cup qualifying and a lot of time into the disappointment of not qualifying for 2018. I’m hoping that the World Cup being on Fox will give all these analysts some deeper love for the sport and give it some more attention in the future every now and then. That being said, this show totally outclasses undisputed now with or without the soccer segment. Shannon and Skip just keep yelling about the same thing over and over. (LeBron, KD, MJ, Cowboys)

Christian is 24. That’s not exactly “young” by any standard in this sport. He certainly isn’t in his prime but top players make significant achievements and contributions by 24. By 20, most top players have over 100 league games. So I wouldn’t call him “young” by any means.

I am Spanish and I follow soccer deeply and truly I don’t like when the media does this, it’s the same as England where the national team is hyped up, the message should be, let’s get out of the group stage anything after is a plus bc I can see the US loosing to Wales for the second spot wales is strong talented and has much more experienced players. The US should make it through bc of their game and unity as a team but still it’s going to be a fight. I love to dream too and every game should be approached with a winning mentality but don’t have very high expectations or you’ll be discouraged over and over again. Best of luck in the World Cup tho.❤
