I have a US version SES. 6 speed auto with paddle shifters, 4WD, sport suspension, and a 2.0 making 166hp and 149 tq. It is the ultimate performance EcoSport, and I love it.

Seems like the US always gets bigger displacements. I can imagine it's way better offroad with 4WD because this felt slippery and one needs to be extra careful on unpaved roads.

Safe designs really work over time. My only problem is the placement of the spare wheel and how the rear most door opens, other than that ford did very well. The aerial view by the drone was amazing, unless if you bought a helicopter😂😂😂, but anyway thanks a lot for the review and Good luck.🙏🙏🙏

🤣🤣🤣... You are giving me blessings with a Helicopter. 🤣🤣🤣! Its a drone, its easier to use it in the rurals than in the city😰 I am okay with the spare wheel just for aesthetics but it affected how the rear door opens and that part is a little uncomfortable to look at actually, I am with you there. The design here really is stunning, the little things they added really make it look good. As usual, Demtumza you always bless me with positivity and it warms my heart. I really appreciate you!🤞🏾❤🙂

Awesome review Sebuwa. I love the shots that you've incorporated as well e.g. the drone. As for the car, i like this variant. I wish it had a bit more features though like a reverse camera, centre console ect. I suppose I could get these features in the Titanium ?
@sebuwam2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Xoli, just trying to bring different elements to the content and appreciate the positive feedback🙂 I don't know why Ford does not do this to top spec variants, same thing happened with the Everest, that Sport variant is a looker yoh! You can get more features from the Titanium yes but unfortunately I did not see any reverse camera on offer.🤔

I honestly wish it had keyless entry though. I like the fact that you can start, track, lock , unlock...etc on your phone via the Ford app...hayi, I'm now caught between the Active and the Titanium. 🙈🙈
@sebuwam2 жыл бұрын
I think the Active has all you "need" plus the looks in the EcoSport range. Yes Titanium has all the sweets but this looks great yoh!
@moyahabomokgolo2 жыл бұрын
@@sebuwam Yeah it's eye catching, I won't lie plus it's more affordable. I've owned the Titanium before in 2016 - 2018 so I know how the other features are. I just want to start my car ka button le nna hle bathong and get rain sensor wipers as well...mara the Active is hands down 👌🏽🔥🔥 lookswise especially in white it just makes the black finishings pop. 😍😍😍

Yo Sebuwa awesome update I was waiting for.. Couple of things Ford should have rather tried…the titanium should have slotted below this active and ford should have rather called this the active titanium reason being there is more here in terms of visuals wheels cladding etc which would see more buyers looking towards this than the titanium - if buyers for R8k can get the titanium, Ford might see less of these on the road. I’m pretty sure as well a titanium owner can purchase these wheels and cladding as an option and just ignore this model ?🤦🏿♂️🙈 Otherwise I expected this to be not that great off-road riding on such low profiles and big alloys. I wonder if ford can offer an off-road on road bias tyres for this model since it looks to be the part for on and off-road? I would simply avoid this model and head straight for a titanium with newer tech (mind you auto lights and windscreen wipers isn’t even new tech anymore😸). I think it’s fuel consumption can also be attributed to fact the vehicle is new also but I believe that will be improved with longer ownership. If ford can consider a dual purpose tyre set up and alloy and include the tech of the titanium thereby making room to improve tech for the titanium to compete higher in the market setup they could well never need another suv besides this and the Everest - mind you Everest I believe out sells this cheaper eco sport probably 3 into 1🙆🏾♂️… Once again considering the top spec titanium is R417k and this active R393k (both auto) they knocking on the door of the cherrys which come fully specced especially 4pro plus more powerful and better looking🥵🤦🏿♂️ I hope Ford thinks seriously about upgrading the eco sport it’s just not enough for the money😶 Do a three way comparison between duster, this and perhaps another competition - did I not mention the tops spec diesel duster is only R392k auto😆😅 Good luck to SA consumers shopping for cars with such pricing 😂 Research is important Thanks Sebuwa awesome always 👌🏽😀
@sebuwam2 жыл бұрын
Ozem, your analysis always gets me because its forever filled with research. I think Ford deliberately left this for the Road as I don't think it will hold for too long with that heavy spare wheel, they do tighten their screws thats for sure but the rattling is a little worry for long term. I am with you on the spec level, I really think Ford should have given Titanium this look, but they were probably protecting the price compared to competition. Like you are saying, Chery is already giving them a run for their money, the Jolion is similarly priced as well so they had to be careful as to which one can they bring to keep consumers interested. I am hoping to find a Duster, honestly I tried to but I am not winning. I have never driven it and it makes it very difficult to compare, I am sure the Duster is better offroad and with the fuel consumption, I heard its amazing. I may try to put this next to the Tiggo 4 Pro though for now🤔. This is one segment that is really confusing for consumers. Indeed they need luck🤣
@ozemsadventureofrandomstuf2522 жыл бұрын
@@sebuwam thanks Sebuwa. Once you find that duster we good to go but a comparison between the cherry and this will do. The cherry will win just by looks alone forget the engine lol. I need to join you on one review. I’m based in Cape Town would be great to see you that side to
@sebuwam2 жыл бұрын
@@ozemsadventureofrandomstuf252 The Chery really can give this a serious run and has more features. The biggest issue there is fuel and thats almost all there is in terms of flaws. It would be my pleasure, I will come that side someday (hopefully soon). I am sure I will learn a lot from you 🙂
