We have an 18 Edge SEL. Perfect for the wife and I. We took a 5k mile cross country trip in it. Lots of room, powerful engine, smooth ride.

Morning , does your edge have the 4 cyl turbo ? Has it enough HP to get up & go. Our 2015 has the v-6

Wow, fantastic review. I'm trying to decide on our next vehicle. Only having one child makes me wonder if an Edge would be enough, especially in this trim. I was looking at Tellurides and similar, but this might be the sweet spot.

I just paid off my 2016 Edge SEL a couple of months ago. It's the second Edge I've owned (the first was a 2007 that I purchased in 2012). I've read that the Edge and the Nautilus will be discontinued soon, which is kinda disappointing, but I get it. From what I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a heck of a lot of difference between what mine has vs the current Edges. Even in exterior styling. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the big screen, but I hope the SYNC is much better now. I have been so tempted to bash in the SYNC screen in my car for a variety of reasons. Besides the SYNC feature, I've loved my Edge, but yes, she ain't very stylish. I would only buy a new one just because I'm familiar with it. For now though, I'm driving her til she croaks!

Ford knew they were gonna cancel the Edge so they never redesigned the interior even when they needed sync 4 - so they slapped it on and ruined the dash instead of improving it. End of they day edge owners love driving their car, its a great daily driver and with dedicated snow tires it kicks butt in deep sierra snow.

Wow. Are most Ford buyers colorblind?? That's the best Ford has? What a shame. Nothing against you, you review them as you get them. Yuk. The interior colors are horrible and the giant tablet does nothing for me.

Like you said, " It looks like may dad's 2006". They may have put a little lipstick on it.

I've owned a lot of Fords and I've always thought that the Edge was a really boring SUV (no offensive to your father). I think they're pricy and real lack any character...and I think the same about the comparable Lincoln SUV. 😴

why speed around town, who drives like that. you are too critical of small things.
