Just got my 2022 f250 yesterday. In the dark blue and yes love it as much as you love yours. My tailgate came without the soft opener, either the robot or the human forgot to add it in production. So part ordered. It rides awesome

In 2020 ford got rid of the multi color option for ambient lighting! You can purchase the lighted door seals and install them in your current truck since they leave the connector there under the current door seals. I installed them in my 2020 F450 platinum.

Beautiful truck. I have an 18 F150 Platinum and have been debating upgrading to a 250 Tremor. I agree with you I like the blackout package in the Lariat but after having a Platinum not sure I could step down. Ford really needs to make a blackout package for Platinums like Dodge does on the Limiteds.

I think the cup holders are backlit. Go back to your settings and turn it up all the way n then check it out in the dark. I don’t think it will show during daytime lighting

They need to have a hybrid with 7.2 kw to have power at the job and for the camper. They got rid of f150 ambient lighting in 2018 just have one color and not in as many areas.

Needs a new front and rear bumper just to make her look pretty and the only dent can easily be pulled with want of those paintless dent puller people. But, it does suffer some paint peel on the roof that needs addressed. Otherwise, the interior is perfect.

I have a 2018 F350 with the 360 cameras and I had Ford replace 3 of them during the bumper to bumper warranty. I still think they're not up to par. The cameras are definitely an issue on the older alumidutys for sure. Nice truck!

Yeah we’re close! The only option I opted out of was adaptive steering. I lift all of my trucks and I had a lot of issues with the adaptive steering on my 17 after lift was done. Kept getting tons of faults and sometimes I would get in the truck and would be driving straight but the steering wheel be at a 90 degree angle. I don’t notice a difference at all without it on my 22.

I have a Grand Design Momentum and it is a little higher than some 5th wheels. At factory height on my truck is was a little nose heavy but after lift it’s almost perfect.

Should have just added the options on the lariat along with the better looking sport package. You can make a lariat f150 have more than the base standard king ranch or platinum. Which means you’ll have more that what u need or want most likely out of a loaded out lariat.

Yes, cameras work at any speed. I have the smaller iPhone 13 pro and it fits kind of tight. I would say the bigger iPhone would be a tight fit.

10 speed transmission is a GameChanger!!! Tons of bottom end torque and still under 2k rpms at 80mph. I ordered it with the 355 gear ratio. Averaged about 24 mpg on interstate.

If I am wrong since you pull a 5th wheel RV that with your truck I am sure that you have to use a sliding hitch in the bed of the truck and I could be wrong but a truck like that most likely cost you in the neighborhood of 75 to 85K, good luck with making the payments on that truck. I also went on line in May 2020 and ordered myself a 2020 F/350 Super Duty Diesel Lariat Super Cab and got my 8 weeks later. I also have the 5th wheel package, but I have only put air bags on the rear of my truck because I tow a 41 foot 5th RV, (it weighs 15,000 LBS fully loaded) and my bed is a 6 1/2 foot bed, (a little bit bigger then yours) my wife and I don’t have any kid’s, (we are in are low 60’s in age and both retired) and when I brought my I mad I payment for my truck instead of making payments. I hope that since you are going to put a 4” left on your truck that it doesn’t hurt you when towing your 5th wheel RV.

This truck does not require a sliding hitch because the bed length is 6 foot 9 inches. If your truck is a 2020 there is no difference. My toy hauler is 44 foot and 20,000 lbs and pulls with ease. I have close to 100k in the truck but paid cash.

With a 4" lift & 37 's You're probably going to be about 6" higher. How is that going to work towing a 5th wheel ? Seems like your camper is going to be nose high & you may have clearance issues. Nice truck, I have the same one, 2019 6.7 PS. Love it!!!

Did you ever have a problem or leak on your 2017 moon roof? And does it come with proof of all the recall issues like the rear axel and front windshield? I realize it was a newer build so it may come corrected. And any advice on why the Platinum and not the Lariat? What was the Lariat missing?

No issues with leaks but if you don’t use them a lot it will cause some problems. No recalls on mine.

The chief problem is trade in value. If you option a Lariat truck to platinum trim level your trade in down the road is based on Lariat….
