As an owner of a tray and canopy by another very well known manufacturer, there's no doubt that MITS are pulling out in front in terms of the form and functionality of their canopies.

Great setup and very inspiring! Just wish mits would change their tail lights. Also curious why you didn’t take advantage of the wider track width to build a wider tray?

As a manufacturer, producing different product lines adds complexity when considering production efficiency, and this size sits nicely with the vehicle profile width wise. Most feedback we have recieved has been positive for the way it sits closer to the vehicles outline. As for tail lights, watch this space!

Looked at one at the Maitland Caravan Show just lately and asked if they were working on a easer way to remove the spare tyre as it's mounted pretty high on the tray especially for us older fellas , as the weight is pretty heavy
@truthlifefishing17302 жыл бұрын
Do you have a rear winch?
@mitsalloy2 жыл бұрын
Providing you aren't going to a tyre size that doesn't fit underneath the tray, you can retain the under slung spare as our trays don't interfere with anything below the chassis line.
@truthlifefishing17302 жыл бұрын
@@mitsalloy YEAH Right. Old mate who can't lift the spare is going to crawl under the car and lift the tyre cuntward. My rear winch idea is better. Hook it up and raise and lower the spare, you may as well run him over.
