Used to live 200 metres from this ground and my brother and I used pop over for some soccer practice there. I left Melbourne in 1990 and I noticed those butt ugly constructions around the field where there used to be eucalypts, tawny frogmouths and koalas. My heart skipped a beat. Go Rovers.
