2022 Genesis G90 is the 5.0L V8 Ultimate the Better Luxury Sedan

Finally, a true luxury sedan is back. Lately it’s all been sports sedans with leather seats. That’s not what I came for. Ever since The Fast and the Furious came out, everyone wants to put paddle shifters, plastic, leather covered racing seats and stiff suspension in a luxury car. I miss the velvet interiors of the 80s and early 90s. Every car is aimed at 16 year olds. It’s nice to see a car with people with bad backs in mind.

I totally agree! I also have a bad back. I just bought one just like this. Same color even. Love that V8 too. So comfortable. Quiet enough to hear your watch tick while driving on the highway. If you buy a sports car, you can only drive it fast very rarely because of traffic and speed limits, tickets, etc. But when you have a luxury car, you feel the comfort and quiet every second you're in the car. I like it better than the Mercedes S550 I traded in on it. I've very happy with it.

Awesome vehicle, I have a Genesis G90 5.0 Htrac Ultimate, and I will never sell it. The reliability is a 10. This Tau engine is just awesome.

I'm a big Genesis fan. Have had both the S550 and the 750il - and like the Genesis best. I have a 2017 G90. You forgot to mention the door closers in the newer models. As an aside, Graduated from GHS back in 1973. Now live in Portland. Happy to see a Genesis Dealership in NPR.

Nice car. What is the reliability or major mechanical issues for the brand? Side mirror monitors ane excellent!!

It’s a solid vehicle, normal maintenance it should last for a while. Make sure the dealer puts good tires on and like a lot of vehicles now in days the headlamp assembly and rear taillamp assembly can get condensation but this can be from not using it too. Yeah those side mirror cameras are the best of all luxury vehicles 👍🏻.

So as far as the front seat goes, it definitely seems like the G80 is a better car to get. The back seat features on the G90 does seem pretty cool but the life that I live, I'd never be sitting in the backseat

It is, I was impressed with this model, I will say most people will not us the back to the full extent but I’m happy they give the extra 👍🏻
