I'm an old gheezer now so I'd pass on the stereo, but I am considering next year getting a 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate (Or Yukon AT4 Ultimate). I'd love to do just what you did here, the 3 1/2" lift, and all blacked out (maybe red brake calipers), but if doable I'd prefer upping the tire size to a full 35", on 17" or 18" wheels, and than a bit of an offset. Basically, this but with the bigger tires. A year ago you mentioned air ride adaptors, I don't know anything about that but if they work that could be great, but I also heard of a company that just removes all the factory suspension, removes the air ride and all, and starts over, putting in new higher performance suspension, coils, springs, control arms, all of it, so its not only much better off road but smoother onroad too. Any thoughts about any or all of that? Pro's and con's? Other?

How much does that cost to do that?

I love that lifted Yukon. I think it's an AT4. I'd prefer a 2" to 2 1/2" lift instead of this 3 1/2" lift, but that's just me, and this looks amazing. A few quick questions though: When you lift it, does that in any way affect the adjustable air ride suspension, magneride and such? What about the suspension travel? And did you have to do any trimming to do that? Also, I understand that the stock base road clearance is 8", and with the air ride suspension you can raise up to 9" in 4H and 10" in 4L. With say a 2" lift, does that mean the base road clearance height starts at 10", and it can then be raised to 11" in 4H and 12" in 4L? Thanks.

Ok I'll do my best to answer your questions, but thanks for the comment Nate. Yes it does affect the magnaride but you buy kits to adapt to the height so it can still work and not throw an error code on the vehicles info center. Trim yes we had to trim the inner fender well similar to a nor cal mod but not so much. And I think what your saying is if you lift it does that increase the air ride suspension according to the lift... I think it would if you got the air ride adapters.....

@@BreakersStereo I didn't know there was such a thing as air ride adaptors. Thanks for the reply. I do love the work you did on the Yukon here!

Any trimming required ? Can you turn full lock with no rub ?
@BreakersStereo2 жыл бұрын
This needed a Nor cal mod and lots of cutting. But it’s still Rubbed slightly at full turn.
