The Alumni Homecoming is covered with a long-day program which brought each one to the glory days of their elementary stay in Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center.
Early morning at 5:00 on December 18, 2022, Sunday everyone joined the Zumba Dance at the school’s flagpole. It was followed by an Inter-Faith Prayer at their school gymnasium at 6:00AM. However, at 8:00 in the morning, a Catholic Mass was celebrated by Alumni Class of 1984 Rev. Father Jeremy Tanong.
In the formal program, each class was given a minute to speak on behalf of their class so everyone can express their appreciation on their alumni homecoming. Their opportunity to speak made them relive as well of the past as each class is to show off the popular fashion style during their respective time. While they all have graduated to an elementary life, they can’t allow to just sit down and watch the new generation dominate the stage, hence, a dance contest was designed for them to showcase their dancing prowess. Also, on that day, Alumni of PCESSC whose contributions to Panabo City and to the country as a whole was recognized.
Indeed, Alumni Homecoming of PCESSC has evolved by the tests of time for this year, a website has been launched so to give every Alumnus a chance to see and reminisce the past through news, old photos and of course recent photos of the school. Also, class 1967 has nailed its commitment to the school when they inked an agreement with the School’s Admin regarding their upcoming support to the school’s program such as WATCH and Gulayan sa Paaralan. Some of their events had been covered by Mindanao’s Advocate of Positive Story Telling and Documentary Filmmaker and Broadcast Journalist John Paul S. Seniel.
