I posted the most recent leaked photos to my Instagram that pictures the LRS with the faring and bags. It looks to be an H-D photo shoot.

I hope they don't put a round-screened, smartphone-like gauge on the new low rider s, just like they have done to the sportster s. I personally prefer the pure bike with minimum functionality. And I do hope they publish the connection interface of the gauge, so that the 3rd parties can also make after market gauges, or we can even DIY for our own, and then we can all get what we need. If there is a legal issue, they could keep odometer and speedometer separated, so that the performance of the core functionalities are not affected.

@@kidmoto22 Hey man! Thanks for the reply! Yeah, so sad. But I think that's how thing goes. I'm generally not against fancy technologies on bikes. I just don't like the fact that all manufacturers simply put a set of functionalities based on the market researches. To me a motorcycle is something personal, thus it should be customizable.

And if there is a Sportster S styled gauge, then I'll probably go for street bob or standard, otherwise I'll definitely get this one. I've been waiting too long for my first Harley :-)

Of course it was intentional. These big companies are very concious of their image and what goes into their marketing. Its damn near a science. Nothing is on accident with them.

We heard about the leaked photo back in August. That’s why a down payment was put on one that “didn’t exist”

Personally I don’t like the gauges on the bars, much prefer them on the tank and in keeping with how the low rider is supposed to look, Why try and change something that’s been a winner from its first release!

My opinion is that they are making a updated version of the old FXR style that is extremely popular right now. This type of mod has moved all the way into the Bagger world with gages getting relocated near the sight line so you don’t have to move your head to look at them just look down with your eyes.

@@kidmoto22 yes I agree, but that’s not everybody taste! Why not let people just customise them themselves as the aftermarket products are just starting to take off, just my take on it

@@oilyrag7429 Yeah…well I would say that H-D is trying to capitalize on it. They have a great history at being too late to the trends “the rocker” as a perfect example. Good bike but the chopper craze was over when that bike hit the market. So this is an attempt by them to hit in the middle of a trend instead of the end.

@@kidmoto22 yes I can certainly see the logic as a brand and company ethos but as a customer ,most Harley owners love to personalise there bikes to there own desired taste, and building it from the original platform to make it unique! Anyway it will be interesting to see where it leads , if anything!

1st, that's not a Harley picture that sneaked out, that's a bike built by Matt Laidlaw from Laidlaw's Harley Davidson had built, there are however rumors that Harley liked it and copied it. and 2nd as the owner of a 77 lowrider, a 92 lowrider, 03 lowrider, 06 lowrider and finally a 2014 1/2 Lowrider if the gauges are not on the tank, IT'S NOT A LOWRIDER !!! gauges on the bars make it a Superglide !!!

If you follow jace from the fast life podcast, he leaked the original (fxrish) photo from someone who works for Harley. I think it’s real and I don’t think it was intentional. From what many said Harley was absolutely pissed about that first leaked photo.

@@kidmoto22 I’m not gonna lie I’m excited to see it. Harley is making huge strides in my opinion. I couldn’t ever sell my Dyna for one. I already have an FXR fairing and leather pro bags on it. But I am stoked to see how people will build this bike. Thank you for the great content 🤙🏼

@@226devin Thanks man. I’m super stoked to see what they do with this bike and if they handle it correctly. This would be the first time in recent memory that H-D caught a trend before it ended. Like the Rocker of you recall that bike. Choppers we’re over and they missed the mark on timing.
