Hope you’re still using this method with weeks. I love it. They’re beautifully laid out. You have given me inspiration with my first hobonichi weeks.

I like the idea of the weeks but between wanting my notes to be in the same spot (ex. My must dos for the week and my thoughts on projects/what not in the same place), and not wanting the dated planner to be wasted if I abandon it, I am considering getting Sterling Ink’s new “weeks” monthly & blank notebook. I can then set up the basic weekly spread at the beginning of each week and leave the following pages open for notes. But the preplanning stuff can be in the monthly.

Your system is the first one I've seen that combines function and style beautifully, so thanks for this! Got some great ideas on how to plan out my 2023 Weeks and love your honesty about not really having much to do in the Notes section - it's that for me too!

I like this. I’m pretty minimalistic I only use wha I need. Some months I’m super busy some I’m not. 2023 will be my first time using a hobonichi weeks for my planner. This is good information for me.

I have considered this system for function. I need some simple function with cross reference. This is my first try at this in my 2 year fountain pen/ink/paper adventure. Thank you for your experience! It's time to keep a method to my madness.

Hi Amanda. I love the simplicity of your planning style and the functionality. Couple questions...(1) do you highlight first and the write over with pen or vice versa and (2) what pen do you use in your Hobonichi?

Oh I loved this! In 2023 I plan on only using the Weeks (trying to downsize the amount of planners I use...and then end up stop using because it all becomes too much) so I'm going to try something similar to you. Simple and functional. That's exactly how I want my planner to be. I'm a huge fan of Helen @ Coffee Monsterz, but thanks to you, I've now discovered Sterling Ink! Thanks for sharing - can't wait to see more ♥

I love the way you use your weeks (I'm also a fan of Lindsey)! I'm looking for the same kind of simplicity when it comes to planning next year too. I want to spend more time on my other hobbies and just use my planner for the basic life stuff. 2023 will be my first year in a Weeks.

Thank you so much!!! I actually just finished setting up my 2023 weeks for the new year (primarily doing my Jan monthly and tracker page) and it’s the exact same style as my old weeks with a few upgrades for function! 😝 I hope to do another video on it soon now that it’s actually set up!

I just love this! 😍 I’ve just started using my first ever Hobo Weeks for work & Im really enjoying it thus far! But I think it’ll take some time to get into my groove with how I want the layouts. Although my intention is to have it be very basic since it’s for work. But at the same time I want it to be nice 🙈

I love your planning. Simple and functional with some added deco for fun and to add some color and interest. I like how you do your to do’s,notes, etc. I also use my daily pages for foreword planing for monthly re-occurring medical and other appointments and house maintenance chores. I put the months on 2 pages so I can see and plan everything. I’ve had my division line on the weekly to the right side or left side of the page but I think I’m going to change back to the left side where the line already is. It’s just easier. I’ll have to re watch some of Lindsay Scribbles as I remember liking her style too. I don’t really do a lot of journaling but may do a really short description on books. I found this video really helpful. I have a pretty basic functional style and enjoy some deco. Just found sterling ink in October. Love her work.

I think we're on the same vibe. Functionality and simplicity for 2023. I was a personal rings user as well, however, I depend on my weeks for everything seeing it can go anywhere easily. 2023 will consist of 2 weeks, 1 for a catch all and 1 for Fitness and health. Maybe get a companion notebook. That's it for 2023. Stay blessed.

Coincidentally, I'm going from a Personal Rings planner to a Hobonichi Weeks for 2023, too! :) I find I enjoy stickers but I could move away from complete decoration...I'm still experimenting with layouts and moving sections I had in my rings planner into this planner. Exciting but nerve-racking!

I bought a Hobonichi Cousin for the first time and wish I would have seen the Weeks instead. The Cousin is overwhelming the $#&@ out of me and it’s not even January 1st, but it was so expensive that I’m going to use it. I did end up buying the Kinbor version of the Weeks for a health and fitness journal, though. Next year, I’m going to use it for my main planner, too. Love your planner and your videos! So nice to see a functional planner that is also beautifully done.

Just here to tell you to be careful when using the MIlk Tea with a clear cover, as they will stick together after a while, and you won't be able to get it out anymore without damaging it.
