You're the first owner to say it was easy to install the Barkbusters. Everyone has difficulty getting to the tabs to remove the bar ends. Haven't installed them on mine mainly because of that but I would like to . The only ones who said it was no problem used force to break the tabs. Nothing to do with the appearance of the bike but as a safety feature you might look at replacing the tinny horn. I bought a Fiamm 72112 and it certainly gets the attention of people. It's similar to the mini Denali soundbomb.

There was a bit of head scratching and watching KZbin to figure it out, When we did it wasn’t to hard , the clips was a issue but when we realised how they worked it was straight forward. Never thought about horn, as I never really get to use it in rural Australia ,but taken on board 👍

Looks great! Will do some of same. Maybe add circle or cube fog lights on crash bars facing forward and maybe something similar towards the back looking back.

Nice setup! I really like the look of the pelican and will add to mine. Is that the V300 size? One mod I love is I put highway pegs on my givi crash bars. Allows me to switch position regularly and works well. It does vibrate my feet so i tried rubber isolators and that didnt help much. Will try to fit some grip puppies next to see if that is better.

Hi James , Yes the v300 Great idea with pegs,I have noticed with the wider footpegs I tend to stand up and stretch my legs more which helps ,barkbusters have taken a bit of vibration away due to bigger end weights.

Nice video thanks. Pyramid Plastics in the uk make a fender extender and a rubber flap for the rear wheel so you dont get so much dirt on the suspention. and less cleaing in general :)

doing a good job mate , MAD YV does a upgrade on their CB 500 X suspension expensive but worth it IMO

check out theist of ... Mike Freerider Gagne NC750X DTC .... he has a good array of driving lights fitted to his ride ...... lights can be expensive , around $600 AU each light so $1,200 a pair from my understanding , although I could be wrong

Very nice top case setup. Much more secure than my shad. I returned the givi because it was merely plastic tabs holding it down. Do you have crash bars? I have the cb500f and I am considering this. It’s too hard to pick up by myself. Advice on picking up the downed bike? I watched many videos but my bike lays all the way over and it makes it too low to leverage. Very nice setup.

you can get a bike hand hoist that you ratchet up which lifts the bike up about 70% upright .. I will look for it and post on here for you

Jbean530 ,Thank you, I do have src crash bars for the cb500x,Advice on picking up is difficult as it depends on terrain mud water bitumen ext,I would say best thing is not to stress and make a plan and take your time ,look for the most leverage.

500x is ideal for Thailand, especially if riding in town, too. Otherwise, maybe the Forza 350. Anything bigger than these two is too big for Thailand. Need agility in town.

another real handy You Tube site witch shows in depth repairs on a CB 500 X is a Canadian fella who's channel is called ... Blancolirio go to his playlists and scroll down to 2nd last line and you will see .... CB 500 X " Adventure " ... you will see it has the number 86 in the square representing 86 videos on the 500 X .......... from repairs , mods , luggage ..... he does a very good job and well worth the look

Been thinking of doing that exact same rear box set up, looks good man. How's the tail/brake light visibility though? It concerns me a little that taller 4WDs and trucks might not be able to see the brake light under the box. Is the rear light still visible from different heights/distances/angles?

Doesn’t impact the taillights at all, I mainly use the flat box when I’m in the mountains👍

Digging the Peli case mod. Weirdly never thought of doing that even though I use Peli cases myself for battery enclosures on electric mountain boards. They're serious business. The big Peli's are pricey though. Is it worth it over just getting an actual top box?

Sorry for late reply,it’s a great box and nice that’s it’s square and not so tall,you can purchase top boxes quite cheap ,just depends on use, I switch between the pelican and a motorcycle top box for certain activities
