For anyone using HOSTINGER and running into problems, this is what worked for me: For SPF: use "@" symbol in the "Name" field instead of your domain (Figured this out from the GoDaddy tutorial, which looks similar to Hostinger). If you get an error that the records don't match, delete the original TXT (make sure you screenshot the original at least). After these changes, it started working. To be fair, I initially had an error in the DKIM too, but not sure if that was resolved only through time..

I had problem also with HOSTINGER. for TXT record I got error: „SenderID/SPF records do not match“. So I tried to copy TXT record "value" manually instead of clicking on the button "copy" and than pasted that content in to hostinger. Error dissapeared, seems that "copy" button is not copying content in right way.

This whole process worries me. It's too easy to stuff up a domain that receives mail now without any problems. My cPanel for Namecheap states the DKIM and SPF are configured correctly - why do I need to change them? We should not be asked to do this ourselves, It's madness. But I do appreciate your thoroughness, Gabriel. I miss your tutorials at MailerLite. The new owners are changing *everything*.

I have email hosting with Google Workspace and the DNS zone of my domain contains Google's MX, SPF and DKIM. My domains are already hosted on Google and authenticated by them, why do I need to use your authentication? I spent hours on finding the reason for it. Also why do I need to be a business to use your services? Can I create a newsletter with my personal blog? And third, you advise to keep our brands separated on multiple accounts. But I have many small brands that will have very small audiences and I want to manage them all through just one account. Is that possible?

I was on the site where we registered the domain and was going to change it there like you did in your video, but before finalizing anything the website stated: "We have detected that you are currently using third-party DNS hosting for 1 domain. Purchasing Premium DNS will interrupt the service for those domains." and then has a checkbox stating "Yes, I want to purchase Premium DNS for the selected domains. I acknowledge this will result in the disconnection of any existing services." I am not sure how to proceed, I don't want to change anything in how our website runs right now, but we really need to authenticate our domain. Thoughts?

Hey thanks for the video I've been trying to authenticate my domain but this message appears "DomainKeys/DKIM record is added, but TXT record name must be left empty." I use name cheap and i can not left that empty, does somebody knows how can i deal with this? Thanks

Hi Leon, it is only possible to have one SPF record in the DNS zone of your domain. Having more than one SPF record will make the authentication impossible, and some hosting providers won’t even allow you to have more than one. If you need to include more than one SPF record in your DNS zone, then you should merge them into a single record by including all the values or mechanisms in the same record. Thanks! They didn't show that I needed to put the litesrv._domainkey in the name field for hostinger. Once I did that, it worked. Much appreciated!

What did you put in the name field for SPF/Sender ID? The name field is required in hostinger but MailerLite tells me name field must be left empty

Im having trouble connecting my google domain to mailerlite. I keep getting the "more than one record exists - please delete the other and leave one". Via my domain manager area of google I only have to single txt record. I have gone to the admin console for google and accessed the Gmail section where I can see the DKIM records however cannot edit them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OMG I'm so lost and confused, and afraid to mess with my domain info on my server! But I need for my MailerLite emails to have better delivery rate. Several of my students aren't getting my eNewsletters. This process feels waaaaay out of my league! And it'd be my luck that it'd screw something up on my site or with the emails I receive from this server... Yikes! I once updated something on my site and the site disappeared, they call it 'White Death'! I had to hire a professional to clean up the mess. Like I said, this seems like it's beyond my scope of comprehension, and am concerned that I could perhaps create chaos if I don't do it correctly... Now what?? Maybe contact the server for them to help walk me through it? I thought that once my domain was authenticated by MailerLite, that was good enough. Bummer....

Checking the tutorial and already Iwhat I have in my dashboard is different from your tutorial! Gosh why you need to change things like every months, making users confuse! And this is just one step of your migrating horror story. I have on my domain tap : DKIM/DomainKeys Please create CNAME record: AND SPF/SenderID Please create TXT record: And both have a Name AND Value, while it is only ONE value on your tutorial. Cool down with your change. We are not all technologie freak. I am looking for a set and forget tool, not a nuclear rocket
