I don't know the Gas Monkey folks :) I grew up on the island. Always remember the fallen. But its THE challenge for a team, bike and people, and people doing something they love, not for money. When the weather holds up, its actually a staggeringly wonderful place for people to go visit, and the racing and atmosphere is very special. I think 2 vids probably doesn't begin to cover it. I was there in 93 and 94 , love Gas Monkey and Richard and what a decision to support the best road racer at this time Peter Hickman. Won 4 races ..nothing else to say.

Been following the TT, Northwest 200, Manx Grand Prix, Macau Grand Prix for years, since the late 80's. Finally glad I was able to live stream it this year to actually watch it rather than just see highlights or read about it. Kudo's to the GMG team and Peter Hickman, outstanding performance. As for the next events, definitely check out Macau, you'll enjoy it. Macau has both cars and bikes for racing. You should also check out Dakar, the ultimate endurance race on the planet!

I've been following the isle of man since the 70s. At the time, the ESPN was called wide world of sports. They would NEVER televise the race because it was so dangerous. In fact back then it was a "by invitation only" race, much like the cannonball run was.
