I find the argument that bobbers are for ‘forever singles’ really funny. Yes, maybe for a typical middle class man (like most commentors) it wouldn’t make sense to buy a separate bike for his own ‘alone’ time. But people should realise that in a country of 1.4 billion people, there are plenty of folks with expendable incomes and resources to buy a bobber. Can be used for going to the gym, weekend rides and even office (most of which don’t have a concept of a pillion rider). This argument is as ridiculous as “Oh, you bought a bike, and not a car. Are you not planning to ever have children?”

A friend got jawa 42 & let me tell you it's weird things most of which i can see are carried here too 1) quality, believe me, if you go macroscopic you will lots of cheap kinda things, like even indicators look out of place 2) seat cushioning, they are like of quality of pre cushion discovery era.... 3) seating - in 20kms, got foot cramp for 2 times both to me & my friend, we both are around 5ft 10inch.... Even tho they say they have it improved here, but guessing it's their first try to make it good, i am assuming it's yet perfect so it will need improvements.. 4) Noise - parts like breaks and i guess body material, they make noises like bus or rikshaw 😪 5) AND THE WORST OF ALL - dual disk breaks but no tubeless tyres, so 99% of the puncture guys refuse to fix it since disk break tyres are impossible to remove & reattach without wasting 1 hr even with 2 ppls... So idk what they thought when they gave tube tyres with dual disk breaks, believe me we went off roaring, it got puncture and we had to drive 40kms without getting it fixed......

Yezdi with the piss-poor build quality. 👎 That's one reason I'm not going to be buying any Yezdi bikes. This bike honestly looks like an after thought. Not at all impressed.

Seriously bro. Regretted buying a jawa classic. Hoped that they would improve the build quality, but they are still the very worst. I urge people not to buy these bikes. I sold mine and switched to RE meteor

@@swapnil_dl i rented a Yezdi scrambler here, in Bangalore. Overall 300kms on the odo. Literally 10kms into my ride, the Allen screws which keep up the rear number plate and tire hugger fell off. 3 out of 4 screws. Add to the fact that I had left at 4am and was stranded by 4.30am without access to technicians or service centers, made the experience SO much worse. 0/10 would not recommend.

I own a 42 2.1 and I love the look and experience. I have traveled 16000 km and the only issue is the paint quality. Every machine has some disadvantages or shortcomings even if you buy a Ducati or triumph, you will have one. Someday I’ll buy a triumph but for now I’m really happy with my jawa42…. Learn to enjoy what you have everyone 😊

Points to be noted :-Gearing is the worst, Hard Clutch, Heating issue, Ground clearance & Chain noise. These should be improved. Beside this, the best Part is its High Torque.

The clutch is neither hard nor light, gearing is good for the highway but can be difficult to use in the city, it heats up as much as the RE 350 does, not sure why are you complaining, ground clearance isn't an issue I haven't scraped once, If Chain is well maintained like lubed and cleaned every 500 kms as the manufacturer recommends you will not have an issue, Completed 3k kms on Jawa 42, no regrets till now.

Completely disagree with this. Clutch is not hard at all. But definetly not as breezy as RE classic 350. We should accept that. I own a Jawa classic and I rode all these bikes. All Jawa and Yezdi bikes are better highway riders. If you want a combo of Highway rider and street classic the one you are looking for is Honda Higness 350

Hi. Good observation about the motorcycle. Just wanted to point out that you are mispronouncing the Brand name. Since the company is from Czechia or former Czech Republic the company name is pronounced Yawa and not Jawa

I wanna ask... why do you want a comfortable seating/position on a bobber? I mean its a bobber, its just a bike to mostly showoff. I think they should have one of the most absurd seating positions. if you want comfort look for a cruiser or an tourer. I just dont think style and comfort goes with this particular style of bikes.

I'm not a fan of jawa, never have been. But this bike I liked, I test rode it and I can definitely say this is a bad take on this bike. Very bad review. Its managed to look at this bike in all the wrong ways and completely missed the mark. This isn't a 150cc practical commuter bike. It's something you buy with your heart and not your brain. They brushed past all the good things about this. Motorcycles aren't appliances.
