Dustin is an esports caster where action is usually non stop and certainly one of the more difficult things to commentate hence why he probably manages to keep his words coming without any hesitation or slip ups, I am unsure if he is involved in disc golf much such as playing or competing himself but I think he done a great job here especially as a solo commentator.

If you are curious I play at a MA2 level. Had had a couple of 950+ rated rounds but still overall rated under 900 atm. Only been playing for a little over 2 years but I do follow the scene closely and am trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can.

Since this stuff is done remotely for post produced coverage it is hard to sync up multiple commentators who aren't on site together. Definitely hope to work with others soon though! I have worked with Terry Miller on his channel a few times.

I can appreciate Dustin's commentary but I'm not sure it's for me. It's a good voice/cadence for the esports gig but it doesn't have the laid back style commentary we are used to for disc golf. Nothing personally against him and he did a great job carrying solo commentary (a really tough thing to do) but it just doesn't feel right on a DG video for me.

Trying not to be a bad guy. Ok here we go. The great thing about DG is the uniqueness of the sport. Having a diverse audience who not necessarily grew up watching traditional sports and not having to do things the same way other sports does things, like commentary. This commentator, though good at his job, sounds like he’s commenting a baseball game. I much prefer people like Nathan Queen, the gals on GK or the Jomez crew, doing things a little different.

I think we don’t realize how challenging it is to commentate a round by yourself. Dustin does a great job, and it’s refreshing to hear a professional broadcast voice. I understand if some people didn’t enjoy his voice if they didn’t grow up watching sports. However, if you want the DGPT to get to the next level of legitimacy and attract an untapped audience, professional commentators/broadcasters are a step in the right direction.
