This looks like a cross over between a Ford Explorer for the sides, Land rover in the front and 2014 Chevrolet Equinox in the back.

Changan (the mother company of Kaicene) has a joint venture with Ford (Changan Ford in China), joint venture with Mazda (Changan Mazda), joint venture with Peugeot and Citroen (CAPSA) and joint venture with Suzuki (Changan Suzuki). They are also the brand responsible for the Landwind marque which was probably responsible for this car's front end resembling a Land Rover. They also have history with General Motors Corporation (Chevrolet's Mother company) and they often use Aisin Transmissions in their cars. So if you ask me what this car is, it's a compilation of the things they are trying to practice building by way of copying. The rest of their cars are the result of this practice.

The best MPV in the market for 900k below, this Kaicene CX70 is a 7Seater that ticks all the boxes. It has Turbocharged Gas Engine, Sunroof and Leatherseats.

Engine power is actually good, higher power and torque than the popular 7-seaters like the Rush, Expander, and even BR-V. Bad fuel consumption though compared to the others. The price is very reasonable, but the brand name doesn't have the same appeal as Geely and MG. Changan is distributed locally by the same distributors of Hyundai. And since this is a division of Changan, does Kaicene share the same distributor as well?

Kaicene has been in the country for longer actually used to be distributed by RUSI or RACAL if I am not mistaken. They relauched under Berjaya Auto Asia the same distributor as Ssangyong Motors. In my understanding they are completely independent of Changan and only focus on cheap value cars. They have 3 models. Kaicene Honor S an MPV, Kaicene CX70 a CrossoverMPV and Star Truck a small business truck rivaling the kia bongo. It's a pretty good lineup aimed at families looking for affordable cars and small business owners aiming to jumpstart their logistics.

You can have a great fuel efficiency even without good fuel economy because you are extracting power from stored energy. You can also gradually extract the power and therefore lengthen the endurance of the stored energy. Whichever the case may be you have the same fuel efficiency.

@@mcconellmacapondag4286 fuel economy is the US term for fuel efficiency, fuel efficiency is the descriptive term itself. And no, You cant have the best of both worlds. You can either have power(higher engine displacement or with turbo) or fuel efficiency(lower engine displacement).

Inadequate cooling due to vents and the massive size but to my understanding the vehicle has a pretty good airconditioning system. It's just a bit on the laggish side. I mean it is cheap so don't expect the same as in premium SUVs but it does fine considering the vehicle's size. You also have to consider that Autodeal is more used to upmarket cars. This is an alternative car aimed towards those looking for big cars on a tight budget. The aircon might be subpar of you are comparing with more expensive cars.

Changan makes these cars but this marque is distributed by a different distributor. These are budget cars so I wouldn't exactly put them in the same pedestal as the more refined brothers.

What is the brand? KAICENE? Where is it made, China? Indonesia? Looks good value for its price with its good looks, 3 rows seating, 8" screen, big space, etc. Front looks like a Kia Carnival, rear is a Ford Explorer while side is an Expedition. Not bad for the price.

For that amount of money id rather get a low mileage Diesel SUV from a good name automaker. chinese car makers are okay and I thank them for bringing prices down but id like to wait and see for them first while there are far better options out there with proven reliability.

If there was, I personally wouldn't. The alternator of this car is probably rated just enough to handle all the tech it has. You probably would need either a beefier battery or to replace the alternator altogether. In my understanding the airconditioning does fine. They are just more used to upmarket airconditiong. This is an alternative car 😊
