2022 Kia EV6 GT-Line RWD Review - Better than the Mach-E?

My Kia EV6 review is long but that's because there's so much to show you. It's fast. It's smooth. It's got a well-appointed interior. Good range, good horsepower, good torque. Is that enough for a Kia edge out the Ford Mustang Mach-E? I'll tell you straight up with I think.

I bought one earlier this week. I got the Wind RWD edition. It’s an awesome car! I’m glad I didn’t go with a Tesla when this car has almost everything I wanted, is way more affordable, and in my opinion, looks cooler and sportier.

Excellent review. I too, think the EV6 is better than the Mach-e. A moot point for me, though, as the Mach-e isn't sold in Australia. You are right, the flush door handles are for aerodynamics, but also to reduce wind noise. EVs are very sensitive to aero, and having a quiet drivetrain makes wind and road noise more apparent. The load rating in the rear cargo area just refers to the false floor. It can carry something heavier, just best to remove the false floor. The wired Carplay is a result of a licensing issue. Several Kias and Hyundais with factory nav have wireless disabled, while versions without navigation have wireless. All the hardware for wireless is present. Hopefully it can be updated in the future. And you are right again, those clips under the console are for cable routing. I ordered my GT-line RWD six months ago, hopefully only another six months to wait...

ev6 have utility mode aka camping mode... and V2L.. you can cook food and do ultimate camping on it for days..

I think this one you're reviewing is Gt-Line AWD... caz the fronck is smaller than the RWD version.

In Europe and Asia, the RWD EV6 gets a larger frunk (more than twice as big) than the AWD version. US market EV6s, however, only get the small frunk regardless of drivetrain. This is because US regs require a light and escape latch in storage areas over a certain capacity, so it is easier and cheaper to use the small frunk than to re-engineer the front end just for the US.

It does have wireless Bluetooth. What it doesn’t have is wireless Apple CarPlay. You must use a USB cable for that.

It'll power your coffee machine toaster cooking.. projector tv music whatever u can think of for camping also I read some article it could even power an average home for 3 days! 3 days of emergency use of course in case of power outage

@@philipc239 in the Korean market they also offer a fitted inflatable mattress for camping in the back. I also imagine you could use the seatback shape to hang a tablet mount.
