Hi! I don't understand the shifting, it seems to be anything but CVT. It even seems to let go of fuel delivery between the "shifts". May somebody explain this to me? 😊

It just simulates gear changing. Anyway the CVT it is so annoying

@@Seba03111976 It would be so great if the implementation was just like actual CVT. 😅 Driving with a behavior like this seems pretty awful. I have seen a Subaru CVT on KZbin, if I'm right, and the transmission was maintaining the RPM exactly at peak power, with no fancy useless management, and I think this is cool! 😋

LOL.. i love this bought one like 3Months ago, i Honesty dont know reliability nor how long they will last nobody can tell as no one could have owned one long enough that shat itself, but i can gaurentee you. They wouldn't create a transmission themselves to keep replacing it under warranty, in South Africa where i am, its got a 5 years unlimited warranty and 4Years Free servicing.. so i Honestly dont care. I absolutely love this, they drive efforless, from acceleration under normal driving it feels VERY lively and is VERY fuel efficient. I did a test the other day at no faster than 110kmh, and averaged 18.9Km/L for the 80km trip i did. Basically to sum it up, since ive driven mine its 1600km myself under light froot driving there are no gears, just silk smooth silence and its really lively. (i had a 400nm torque Tucson Crdi for 4years) and i have absolutely no power issues with this car. The power delivery is quite impressive and responsive, under hard acceleration it will simulate 8 gears, or obviously manual mode you can select them yourself.. but i prefer D mode lol, But i must say those changes if you do them youself are so quick it sounds honestly like a Dsg 🤣 lets see how they last up, im not scared of Kia and Hyundai, thats where i will stay forward had my fair share of Most other brands and these are by far the most reliable to me since i started driving them.
