Go GT-Diesel for the AWD. If you don't need 7 seats, the Sorento isn't worth the extra cash.

@@coolmanu55 Hi mate, mine arrives in a couple of days. It's not the fuel type you should be too concerned about, it's the transmission type. Go diesel, majority of reviews seem to be disappointed with the petrol version with it's DCT (dual-clutch transmission) due to it's clunkiness and prefer the diesel which is semi-auto. Additionally, an ex-mechanic mate of mine advised if given a choice between cars, stay away from cars with DCT for road use if it can be helped.

Do you think it's better to go diesel or petrol in the 2023 Sportage? In Jamaica 🇯🇲 the petrol doesn't have Turbo until you get to the GT-line but the diesel has it from entry level.

Great review. Just wondering if any one had any issues with the rotary dial shifter. Was that ever stuck or giving an error message?

Cheers! I've never experienced that in many of the Kia models that have that dial. Unsure what it's like long term. But can't imagine it'd be a major issue.

I liked it! A lot clearer than the base sound system. Car is a little big on the inside, so can sound a little cavernous and a little harder to feel ‘immersed’.

I've ordered a GT-line. You didn't mention towing capacity. 1900/1650kg Diesel/petrol is good but terrible towball download maximum 100kg. To achieve the desirable 10% download (for safety) you should only tow 950kg. Not good enough Kia. 150kg towball weight should be offered.

Who has six month wait? Lucky you. We are told 9. This is front runner in our search so far. Loved the drive feel. Test diving a Toyota Hybrid on Monday as we are replacing. Toyota Rav 4. We expect will decide after that drive. Toyota are on 12 month wait!

No offence but the 2022 uk model knocks spots off the 1 available in ur country . Just ordered the new green watched this video and panicked a bit had to check my manual with pictures as this model looks ugly ours kinda has a Range Rover sport/xc60 look Why change shape even the interior!!!! All good I’m happy great car
