I got a 2021 EX with the premium pkg that includes all of the nice upgrades that you get with the SX except for the turbo engine ie: Wireless phone charger, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, HK sound system etc. I absolutely LOVE it!

I just bought a 2022 Kia Sportage LX AWD model. Beautiful color, Pacific blue. Very well built car. I agree with all his findings especially gas mileage. It could be a little better but overall a nice car. Am happy with it.

I just bought a 2018 Kia Sportage and I absolutely love it. It was like brand new when I got it in 2021. It has everything. My favorite is the rear camera and the signal to let you know that its not safe to change lanes. The color is awesome pacific blue.

I like my base AWD model.. I wish it had the sunroof, however it rides nice and I don't have to wait for turbo lag to speed up. The AWD system has been tested on my commute in snow and ice and I didn't lose footing once. The base model has many features that with other companies you have to get a higher trim level to get. It's very nice.

I am considering it...I currently have a 2017 Niro Touring (regular hybrid), but I'm looking for a slightly larger car with AWD. But man, the fuel efficiency is a sticking point that's giving me pause.

I got the base model with AWD and it has so many additional safety features like lane assist included and the AWD wasn't that much more than the base model 2wd price. We went for the Telluride, but couldn't get financing and few are available.. but the Sportage is nice and handled the snow well.

The 2022 model year will be a departing year for this generation of the Kia Sportage. 2023 will have a new generation.

I have the exact same car, but mine is white pearl. For sure agree with you on speaker sound, not great, but do you think it’s possible to get my sound system redone? If so, what would you recommend to replace, tweeters etc? I also have a question about the dash lighting, I see mine are red, is that the standard color? For ventilation, etc… I hate the screen, I only use Apple car play as the screen sucks, do you think there’s any way, aftermarket or not, to change anything on it? You did a super job showing the entire car👍

Looking at this as my next ride and already looking into sound upgrades. I’m either looking at Morel Maximo or JL C1 speakers, kicker key amp (auto EQ and time alignment) and a powered sub. Currently can’t find a dash kit to swap the radio out. Check out Crutchfield to see what your options are!

Nice to see a central PA reviewer. Stopped in at Fred Beans today and "window shopped" a red nightfall edition. No sales person came out to see me. Problem is I'm trading a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma. KBB value is more than a loaded Sportage. How tall are you? I'm 6'3. So you said you're 6". How was the drivers leg room? You have a buddy I should ask for at Fred Beans? If not I'm going to Turner in HBG.

Love your videos...I suggestion, maybe add a passenger seat review...reason I ask is not all passengers seats are as comfortable as drivers. 1 example is the Toyota highlander.

Mileage could be better,has some luxuries..set to low to the ground for an Suv. Needs more leg room in drivers area.. Has good speed pick up.

Okay. I was just surprised after seeing so many reviews of a newer model which is labeled as a 2022. It must be the ‘23? It’s much nicer than the current generation, which is the worst looking IMO. I have a 2011, which I like a lot, as well as the original. The current generation looks like a chubby insect from the front.

You do a good review in general, but you could dispense with the exhaust sound and the sound system parts. I don't think most people care about the sound of the exhaust and you can't tell anything about the sound system from the video, you have to be there.

I have to disagree - exhaust and sound system are very important to me and most reviewers do touch on them. Just my opinion and I can understand where you are coming from. I’m 23 and my tastes my change later on. Peace

@@goldpony according to Google Australia Kira Australian warranty it just about covers everything including the cost of parts and labour associated with any claim bear in mind any parts replaced in warranty period bear in mind any parts replaced in warranty period will only be covered until warranty expires

If you listen to him talk you can hear the road noise. It's not soft and I laughed when he called it serene. I have a '21 and depending on the road and speed it can get loud. The suspension is rough to me. My car vibrates and KIA says there is nothing wrong. Is it the engine then? After 30 min of driving I start getting a headache. When I drive at higher speeds like 60 my passenger seat shakes. I'm going to get a second opinion. It just doesn't seem right. Could be the performance tires too. Course I am coming from a Jeep Cherokee which felt like I was floating on air compared to this car LOL I have an EX and love the tech package. There are lots of little details I like. Seats are on the small side but plenty of foot room. Cargo is on the smaller side. Hate that you can't remote start it from the fob. He is right about the fuel economy. If I hadn't gotten 7 grand off the MSRP I wouldn't have bought it. Don't hate it, don't love it.

I just rented a base model Kia Sportage for the weekend and I was very impressed with how it drove. It was smooth and peppy enough. If I went at speeds above 70 it will get a little bit loud in the cabin, but anything under that it was quiet!

We have a 2020 EX. we got it brand new. wife wanted it because of the warranty. We had the little Buick 2017 encore accent for 3 years. Buick rode nicer and a lot quieter.

@@gaalattila829 i do believe that’s a 2022 sportage, the nightfall edition had its logo darkened, both front and back badges and also on all 4 wheels, the sportage logo is also different, it’s black and written across the back, kinda like the stinger. The rest of the sportage all look like the one shown here
