Thanks for schooling the ignorant on how to properly use a cell phone. Apparently, I too was ignorant of the ways of my phone. It was by default playing 480 because I wasn't on wifi. After reading the comments, I switched to 1080 and the video came alive. Very nice work!!!! Thanks for the coverage and the phone class. New subscriber for sure!!

I wish there was something I could do... At this point the SD card is not recognized by any of my devices, while using multiple SD card readers... Amazon was able to refund me the price of the SD card reader, and the SD card, plus a $50 inconvenience credit, none of this gets the footage back however... Super upset, fortunately my wife got photos of everyone we will be posting this weekend.

Because they can fix that, I love tech and I'm pretty sure that something may be possible, have you tried every possible troubleshooting? What is the error code that you get from the corruption or the SD card won't work at all ?

@@gikal8118 yes, I'm very savvy with tech as well, I tried every possible solution outside of having someone solder straight to the nand chips, and I actually just got a reply back from a large reputable company that specializes in these things, and they unfortunately said they cannot retrieve data from Samsung EVO chips.. 😭😭😭

@@DiscGolfVanLife I have a 6.5" phone screen with 2k resolution. Could barely make out the shots, and the fonts are so small I couldn't make out the scores unless I zoomed in. Tried watching on a computer screen and it wasn't much better. Not knocking the effort, but when you film from such a distance, it's hard to make out a tiny disc flying thru the air. Would've loved to watch this entire round, but couldn't get past more than a few holes since I couldn't see most of the discs flying. Best regards.

What are you doing for your community? Several hours recording each round, couple hours doing drone flyovers, more hours spent doing commentary with the tournament director, countless hours editing, on my own for the love of disc golf. You're going to have to come at me a little harder next time, and try changing your KZbin settings to playback in 4k. 🤦🤦🤦

@@YashaKoman maybe I missed the constructive part, as I filmed solo, on my own dime, hence no catch cam, I used decent quality equipment, a Panasonic 4k camcorder for the round, a DJI FPV drone for flyovers, and DJI wireless mics for commentary, editing using paid software. Was very easy for me to assume you are viewing the footage in 720p or even 480p instead of 1080p or even 4k, as my video offers. Since the catch cam issue is an obvious issue of not having another physical being there to help, I guess the only issue we can constructively discuss is the video quality... Which again, was filmed using 4k equipment, what can we discuss to elevate my content?
