2022 Lamborghini Countach: The way it should look | Rendered with KYZA - Ep. 1

Welcome to our new series called "Rendered," featuring Khyzyl Saleem, a.k.a "The Kyza." Khyzyl is a self-taught 3d concept artist who has been making waves in the automotive industry with his unique taste and innovative designs.
In this episode of "Rendered," Khyzyl experiments with the 2022 Lamborghini Countach Hybrid that was recently announced. Even though we can thank Lamborghini for bringing a classic back to life, Khyzyl thought they didn't unleash the full potential of the iconic 1970's Countach that we all know and love. Watch as Khyzyl redesigns the 2022 Countach by adding some of the iconic bits and pieces from the iconic 1970's supercar.

My god this was nerve-wracking to do! I'd also just like to mention this version is obviously inspired by the " 50th Anniversary Variant" of the Countach, not the original given lack of Aero etc, but it was extremely fun to make & build off what was there. I'm really new to this platform so hopefully will get better as I go! Thank you for watching!

Great re-envisioning of the new Countach, Kyza! This could be a series or something lol. 2 questions: 1. Where would you recommend someone start with 3D modeling? 2. Do you consider aerodynamic properties with your concepts or is it purely aesthetics (though the spirit of the original Countach was not at all based on aerodynamics haha)?

To be honest. This is a lot more inline with what I expected when they announced they're making a new countach. The base car looks good but it looks oddly conservative for Lamborghini.

Well, Audi and the VAG will have a say on whatever Lamborghini does, so it may have well been muted by them.

The original was conservative compared to later models. I think the new one captures the original well rather than the 80s one.

Oh damn!! Hagerty just got the modern master designer on board! Great job on the rendering. The real car was great, imo but the style we all fell in love started with the LP400 S and subsequently LP500 S and LP5000 QV. KYZA definitely nailed the vibe with this one!

Brave looking spoiler! :) I really like that you thought of the pop-up headlamps also. In my opinion they could have found a work-around to have these integrated somehow in the series design, without upsetting the regulations. Another thing they could have done, is the wheels. I would have went either with the 70's LP400 version, or the crazy looking 80's anniversary edition. But nonetheless you have to give them credit for their initiative. It was a huge gamble to have a modern take on such an iconic automotive design.

no no no no NO. The best BEST thing about the original Countach are the taillights. Think about what that means since there are so many great parts to the Countach. The fact that the taillights on the new one are not gigantic single units that fill up that whole space is a tremendous oversight.

Very interesting to see his process, but he pretty much just put a digital widebody kit on the Lambo Countach concept. The square lights need refining to be an improvement over what Lambo did. He also didn't touch the side vents which I think were one of the weaker elements of what Lambo did. Cool process video, underwhelmed by the end result.

Wow I love the intro pic on this video. That is how they should have designed the new countach. It boggles my mind truly how this guy is such a great designer who made this video and the guys at lambo who created the new lambo are truly clueless. One chance to recreate an absolute icon and they f.cked it up. It just shows the world that true intelligence one can not learn in a intstitution but one is born with. These designers working for these automotive companies are so controlled by strict company budgets they can't even design a good looking car. The new countach is a prime example of how car companies don't truly care about there heritage and its all about the bottom line. Lambergini knows human nature and if they just made a new countach they would sell regardless especially if they create a limited amount and they couldn't care less about making the countach truly exceptional. This who made this video hit the nail right on the head in terms of the heritage of countach and modern day aswell. Flippen gourgouse redesign . keep up the great work bro

The irony of this video is that he keeps saying he's changing it to look more like the original. The new Countach is closer to the original look than his design. He made it look like the last (anniversary edition) version with all the added scoops, flares, and wing. The original Countach did not have any of that stuff.

I mean it looks good man but like… come on man this just looks too “boy racer” or tuner scene esk😭 I think Lamborghini took the right steps with their iteration and made it a true “evolution” instead of a “revolution (for modern conservative standards)”. I mean like come on man… bagged wide body with huge ass fenders and a giant wing just screams boy racer vibes in todays age 😹 definitely loving your design process tho! Love seeing your own touches and stuff to it and in the end I guess that’s all that matters. Heck no 😂. Not just saying bc hated the blasting dj-wannabe-can-music. :) Don't like the tail lights, that look like they're all over the place, and from certain angle they look misaligned. Looks like origami, especially the front, the wheel arches, air intakes.. I'm not saying their redesign was amazing, but was better and needed only a pinch of salt NOT a BUCKET.

If Lamborghini had made it look like this and given it a special unique drivetrain, insane hp, this car would have gone down in history as a legend. Instead, the Countach that Lamborghini gave the world will be remembered as nothing but a body kit and cash grab.
