The interior seems updated and outdated at the same time. Lexus should consider having ambient lighting and a bigger infotainment system like its competitors. It should also up the acceleration for its F sport trim as it is not that much faster than the base model that we see here. Nonetheless, it is still a great vehicle with a top tier reliable engine.

Then why even bother w the RX? You may as well get a top end Toyota Highlander platinum that has the exact same v6 or if you want more luxury features and fuel efficiency, get the sienna platinum
@lane56863 жыл бұрын
@@naveenthemachine I hear ya, but my criticisms come from the fact that Lexus is a luxury brand; yet its parent company Toyota is producing more updated vehicles while it’s copy and pasting its old models onto its newer ones. Meanwhile, we have Toyota cars who have those updated amenities
@naveenthemachine3 жыл бұрын
@@lane5686 yeah. The fact that Toyotas are more modern than Lexus makes me question “what next level luxury does Lexus provide over Toyota? Except of course for the LC500 RC F is500

@@lane5686 this the tail end of an Rx generation that started in 2016. Its normal that its a bit dated at this point. The Highlander was more recently redesigned in 2020. You should wait until the next Rx generation (which I believe should be soon) before you compare. Edit. Compared to this, my 2015 (last year of previous gen) looks even more ancient.

@@blackcaesar8387 Ahhh I see, that makes sense then. As of now, a lot of consumers are buying the new Acura MDX and RDX because of the updated design.

How is the suspension over sharp bumps? I am looking for something with comfortable seats and a smooth suspension over bumps?
@LuxuryPookie3 жыл бұрын
I don't have experience driving either but from what I hear, the base model (non-f) RX with smaller wheels, and the Buick Envision, are some of the most softly sprung CUV's. That said if you're looking at 6 figure spending, the Range Rover is king and Wagoneer w/ air ride is 2nd place

Question does it have ambient lighting in the door handles & can you changes the ambient lighting colors ? Like in the steering wheel floor board & center console & even the back seating area ? Thanks

Yeah the gv80 has already ended the RX. I can guarantee the 2023 RX will be a disappointment vs the current gv80

From the reliability perspective, a Hyaundai product against Toyota, I think not!
@naveenthemachine3 жыл бұрын
@@kbw.rvwhntr it’s not the 90s you know. And the gv80 has received insane amount of high praise. Plus even you have to admit Hyundai has come a long way. You’re probably stuck in the past where Hyundais were junk cars. Don’t get me wrong Lexus is far from bad but there’s really no longer any compelling reason to choose one when there is a better luxury suv for not too far off in cost like the gv80. Or if it has to be a Japanese brand, save some thousands and get a Toyota in its top end trim. Like the highlander platinum or sienna platinum for instance
@caidenn_mb3 жыл бұрын
Personally, I like the RX-350 better but that’s just from a biased standpoint. I am a toyota/lexus guy therefore I mostly choose their cars over any, but I do have to agree the GV80 goes much farther than the lexus. Still I would buy the rx350. :)
@naveenthemachine3 жыл бұрын
@@anonymous00117 I’d take a gv80 or if I had to choose Lexus I’d get a top end Toyota Highlander platinum or sienna platinum and get the same if not more luxurious features and as for the sienna insane mpg with lounge chairs and ottomans
@caidenn_mb3 жыл бұрын
@@kbw.rvwhntr I also agree with @naveen your comment is very uneducated and you clearly haven’t done your research. Hyundai/kia products nowadays have excellent reliability, and the engineering and design that they have goes far beyond any toyota/lexus product.
