2022 Lifan KPX 250 on a quick North Georgia Trail ride

Riding some local trails in North Georgia on 2 2022 Lifan KPX 250s. Great bikes for tractoring around the trail.
As a reminder, we are really bad at this and don't let your lack of skill be any reflection on the capabilities of these bikes :)

Great video! I have the Hawk 250 and love it but I wish I’d know of the Lifan before I bought mine, they seem to have a good reputation for a China bike. Keep the wheels dirty!

Hawk is a great bike! Most of us in this group had TBR7s (basically the hawk) before the Lifan's. They're a little more pricey but I'm glad I made the jump.

Cool trails!!! Did you have tire rubbing muffler? My did, yesterday I add two old large nuts and longer old bolt as spacer to move muffler away from tire. Today gonna add old bark buster that I saved from 1990’s haha!!!

Nope. We built five without muffler rubbing issues.

Добрый день. Вы регулировали уже клапана на Lifan KPX 250? В мануале указаны зазоры 0.08 мм впуск и 0.10мм выпуск, я установил такие параметры и на таких зазорах мотор очень сильно звенит! Может у Вас есть опыт?

Yep, it's a great bike with ample power for what we do. Its not. Wheelie machine but it's gotten me through lots of trails it had no business trying.

How do you guys find all these trails in Georgia? Im moving up there next month and just want to know how you guys find those cool trails?

Ask around and lots of Google maps. Georgia also has OHV trails that are pretty nice and forest service roads through the mountains.

A group of us did five of them and the only issue any of us have had is a bad starter which lifan sent a free replacement for. I think it's all about the proper assembly and maintenance and they will treat you right.

On a scale of 1-10 how comfortable are the seats?

Pretty decent, much better than a dirtbike. I run a cushion on mine as I sometimes do longer road trips. 8.16 out of 10.

@@deron29 these are private property but we have plenty like them on public land. Whisenhunt is my favorite in the north ga area. Chattanooga actually has an OHV area too. Just type OHV in Google maps and go pay 5$ and ride!

@@teddadolphson4237 still great. No major maintenance and just oil changes, battery charging, and chain tensioning. 2800 miles.

I figured that the Chinese bikes would improve to the point where I'd be sorry I spent the extra to buy a Japanese dual sport. It appears that we're about there. Id be concerned about getting parts, and im sure that will change too.l

We've had no issues getting parts from Lifan, and they have a dealer network. We had a starter go out on 1 of the 5 and the sent us the starter for free and it was there within 2 days. The bike already had 500 miles on it and some offroad.. can't beat the service.

I agree on this part. Chinese start making quality vehicles. I have changan alsvin, basically an equivalent of Toyota Yaris but with extra ton of features that Toyota doesn't give on yaris. That car feels and runs like Toyota and as reliable so far
