2022 M240i CARGUY REVIEW

I like the 2022. The 2023 M240i has that horrible new screen where the instrument cluster used to be. Digital display is ok, but is it just me or does anyone else miss analog gauges? Something classy about them. Overall nice car!

Yes we prefer analog gauges too but on this car they did a great job integrating the digital display. Haven't seen the 2023 m240i in person yet but will definitely compare

For this reason and the elimination of the gear shifter, I went for a 2022 m240i over a 2023 or 2024. The curved screen I get why they did it, even if I don’t like it… but I don’t understand why they changed the gear shifter into a little button you flick

Nice review. I was wondering, about the cruise control, is there one standard or it's just an option ? and that speed limiter you talked about is it something standard or an option package ?

I had a 2018 F32 440xi, which is about the same size as the current G series M440. It was definitely more roomy inside than my current G42 M240 but if you don't care about the extra space than go for the M240.

The only thing I don't like is how the speedo is not precise.. cannot show all the numbers precisely.. lioke it's lagging to calculate... in a tesla modelS plaid wich is way faster it show's all the number...so it's possible.. dunno why they made it so unprecise..

No way it’s 4.5seconds for a 0-60. This thing beats the M340i and that one is claimed at 3.9

RWD model is somewhere 4-4.5sec. The AWD is about 3.5-4 seconds.

launch control does it under 4 secs. Some ppl get 3.8s. I own this car and a 2023 supra. This is faster off the line than the supra

Thats what BMW claims. However i can definitely confirm its quicker than that. We were beating teslas off the line which is nuts
