About last month they won the MTV Best Live Performance Award, and today they showed us what "performance" is. The live orchestra gave a special vibe and goosebumps in the song, they really do deserve a stage like this! Congratulations JO1! 👏👏👏 Let's go to the TOP!

I truly don't understand what the problem is when all the members shine in a performance. Even me, *whose main bias is Ren , who loves Ren above all* -- would rather have a performance where everyone is amazing than a performance where only 1 or 2 members are remembered. The idea of a good synchronization is for everyone to move as one. JO1 is a group, so for me JO1 should shine as a group. And not just individually. If you think Ren is being ignored or forgotten just because he doesn't have much spotlight. It's not. Rather the fact that everyone shines now is an achievement to how good he is a performance leader. If Ren was being forgotten, he wouldn't have such an important role. If the camera work was good here, I'd doubt there be much complaining. 😑

Additional: You want to know what happens to a group where only 1 or 2 members are remembered/famous? The famous member gets hated on. To the point that it affects their mental health that they start to get skinnier than they already are. E.g. I'VE (not even an I'VE fan) And the last thing I need, is for Ren to get hated on and become thinner than he already is. 🙁

Well said!!! Don't forget that JO1 is a teamwork, but at the same time each member can shine in their own way. This year JO1 enters its 3rd year, it would be weird if other members didn't improve at all, right?! Thanks to all members' hardwork. And because we're talking about Ren... Then, never worry about Ren's popularity. I’d say he's one of kind performer. He has years of experience in dancing. Non fans will always recognize his talent no matter what. There were always this kind of questions: "Who is purple haired guy?" "Who is the thumbnail guy?" "What's the name of 2nd guy from the left?" etc And the answer to all the questions above were KAWASHIRI REN !! Trust me, he even could dance in a potato sack costume and still stand out. 😅❤️ (seriously, this is the highest compliment I could ever give 😁❤️).

@@kimbab0506 Yes. It'd be worrying if 3 years in , and the other members have not improved. All this started because people talked about his black hair color making it harder to recognise him right away. Ofc that was just a joke. Some people didn't get it. And thought Ren was becoming less famous now because they wouldn't recognised him right away. Even when JO1 changed their hair for Super Cali, it was hard for me to recognise Ren right away. That's because his previous color was purple and then Shosei's hair became purple. It took a while for me to get used to it. Not because I love him less or anything. To see Ren from afar. You just have to look at the posture, height and the tiny tiny waist. You'll know where Ren is, no matter the hair color. Yeah, even fruits can recognise Ren's talent. And if they think a little thing like all members shining in a performance will take away the recognition for Ren's talents then they need to be more confident of Ren. Especially since they're supposed to be Ren's fan.

@@ht-mugi-mugi There is no simple debate about which version is better. It is about how JO1 can be recognized by the world is on the agenda. Personally, I prefer the Japanese version as well, but if you are going to perform at the Korean music festival, I think the Korean version which we all know that's already exists could’ve been more beneficial to approach a new fan base because it might have grabbed the attention form Korean audience widely Making an effort by Japanese groups to sing and respond in Korean at the Korean music festivals are likely to be appreciated and listened to at the end. Look at all K-pop groups in Japan, they would try to sing and speak in Japanese and I'm sure many Japanese audiences would appreciate their effort so It should be vice versa. Unfortunately, It takes way more than just the current Japanese and international JAM to make an incredibly talented and humble group like JO1 succeed at the world's top level, especially with the poor management of their agency. No matter how good the material is, if the marketing tactics are poor, it would be hard to make the world cut. I'm not only looking at the moment of their current achievement to be satisfied but concerning all the causes and effects to see how we could expand JO1's fan base. If success in Japan alone was all that was needed, I would be fine with the status quo, or better yet, I probably never would've become JAM in the first place, but I think everyone is looking for something more.

最初のダンスパート、確か一昨年は豆、去年は蓮とINI木村君だった。 今年は豆・蓮・拓実から、瑠姫・翔也センター。 メンバー全員がレベルアップして、誰でもセンターで魅せることが出来るグループになってる。 それぞれの個性も光ってる。 本当に誇らしい。

JO1の気迫こもったパフォーマンス圧巻でした。特に0:55 冒頭ダンス終盤、きまちゃんセンターから蓮くんセンターに代わってすぐ照明暗くなって。 暗い中、真ん中の仮面の下の方に、蓮くんの僅かに見える指先がゆっくり美しく折れていくシルエットを見た時、なんとも言えない気持ちになりました。気づかない人も多いであろう。でもどんな状況であろうと、映ってなかろうと、ステージに上がったら全身全霊のパフォーマンス。それはメンバー全員にも言えます。素晴らしいパフォーマンスをありがとう。
