2022 Maxus G50 Review and Media Drive -Is it better than the Toyota Avanza?

Maxus Philippines, invited us to drive the Maxus G50 all the way to Subic for this media drive. We got to fully stretch the legs of the Maxus g50 on the highway, on twisty roads and on a parking lot track. It's a lot more fun to drive and a lot more athletic than an 8-seater MPV should be
We also got to test features that you dont get to appreciate unless you're in an emergency situation, such as electronic brake force distribution.
With a price tag ranging between 948k-1.33m, it's pretty good value for a 8 -seater mpv

Hope Maxus will have more dealerships, esp in the provinces, to provide more alternative vehicles to people living outside of Manila (I live near Tagaytay City, and the nearest dealerships in our area are only that of Toyota and Hyundai). 👍

A chinese car and you are comparing it to toyota avanza or innova..?that's so funny sir disrespect the brand..and i research that maxus is founded only on 2011...means not tested for the engine quality.and for the price of almost 1.2m for the middle variant..i dont think buyer will choose this than innova or avanza.

The base model G50 1.3 turbo starts at 948k. The Avanza E 1.3 starts at 984k. What you get with the G50 are the additional power, seating, and space. Also 5yr warranty is also given. You can always stick to what's proven and tested but suffer the lack luster amenities that the avanza offers or enjoy the premium features that the G50 brings.

Engine quality yes they are definitely have more way to go to compete with toyota and other jap brands, but technology and specs they definitely took charge way more than innova and avanza. but these chinese cars will soon be a talk of the town in less than 10 years, from now , now the question is would they emerge? Or it will be downfall? Who knows, we never know.
