Steve, thanks for including so much usable info in this review. You sitting in the rear seats gives us more info on how space is really apportioned versus you telling us. This is a neat car, but Mercedes' online leasing calculator quoted this build at $1800 at lease inception and $992/month. 38 grand for 3 years... I don't see it. Maybe this is for someone who just has to have a 3 pointed star on the hood no matter the cost. Those are some pricey LEDs!

My younger sibling has the previous generation of this car, even though she shouldn't (Way out of her budget, $800+/month). It is a very sporty car, but also very compact. At 6'1+, you will not have a lot of room for passengers. Very hard to justify the cost unless you are doing extremely well, $200K+ a year.

Just to add a counter argument, I’m actually 6’8”, and I have way more room in the front seat of the c class than I do in a Honda Accord. They just allow the seat to move significantly further back. Agreed on passenger space in the rear though. However, cost-wise, I could never justify the prev Gen c class over an accord (new at least). The interior was maybe 5% nicer. This new one seems to actually offer some value though

Glad they got rid of the A class… that thing was atrocious. I’ve never liked boat size cars like the S class so the small to midsize sedans are perfect especially when they offer plenty of add ons that don’t fall under “economy”
