Love the Outlander, the interior is the best in class in my opinion and the handling is actually really good, one of the best.

I have this equivalent model in NZ , also with the optional grey interior. My best mileage is 16.7 k per 1L ,average around 11.4L. I have really taken a while to trust the quick steering and the inability to feel what the car it doing in corners. But a recent blast through a twisty section with tarmac selected ,it all came together, it's like a limpet on the road and handles really well. I also live on a 20 plus degree driveway and pulling the door closed has loosened the armrest on the drivers side, but with just 5200k on the clock, that's all i can say has gone wrong ,although i did have the towing eye cover on the front come off whilst in a car wash, but thankfully ,no damage. I'm impressed ,it's a great car overall.

Bought a 2020 outlander Sport limited and was blown away by the quality and ability to handle Michigan winters. 2022 came along and i just recently found a 2022 Outlander GT....2.4 L....So smooth and a joy to drive. Both made in Japan 98% Japanese components. Keep up on the maintenance ESPECIALLY the CVT. Can't ignore the trans. fluid and filter. Big trouble if you dont keep up on it.

Hello, first I would like to say I really like your review. May I suggest you do a comparaison between Outlander PHEV and Santa Fe PHEV 2023. I'm considering both, I'm on both waiting list. The Outlander can do more km on electric, it has a better warranty, better government rebate, but I believe Hyundai has a better reputation, better cargo space, very well equipped on the basic model. I don't know about the price yet, I think to Santa Fe will be a bit less expensive.

Great follow up review. Especially after a year, you get a better sense of the pros and cons of the vehicle. A big con for me would be the fact that there's no programmable home link for the garage door. One question; 1. Does this have WIRELESS Android Auto? Or is it just Apple Car Play that's WIRELESS?? By the way, your kids are ADORABLE!!

Hi Brian I agree with your comments, Mitsubishi Outlander offers great value and features. We liked it so much that sister and sister in-law, each bought one. Dd you notice the hood flutter at highway speed? I believe there is a class action lawsuit on it in USA filed in Massachusetts federal court At our last oil change the dealer said they will replace the whole hood. Great review, thanks

Have you had any issues w/a unstable rear end while driving on anything but dry roads? There have been quite a few online comments about loose, swaying rear suspension feel, and I can attest to this on ice and snow. At any speed, it feels very unstable in back as if the tail is going to whip out.

Compared to the previous generation Outlander, the new Outlander is heavier (+200kg) and has worst NVH. The "new" Nissan engine needs a pension (2001) and it replaced an engine that was heavily criticised for it's age, but first appeared in 2012.

Nice car. You have a cheap bike rack. A Yakima hitch bike rack can pivot down to allow the tailgate to open up without hitting the bike while on the rack.

@@EverydayReviews2022 Thank you for the quick reply! I'm moving to Florida in October so I was concerned that the seats might not breathe well in hot weather without perforations or ventilation. I think any car's AC would struggle with a temperature like 46C! I drove my current Subaru Legacy in 42-43C a couple days last July in California and it was struggling.

that fuel economey you mentions (10.7 L per 100 KM) is equal to 21 MPG right? if that is true then this is horrible for this car, it is advertised as 28 MPG. what am I missing?
