Steve, just got my Outlander and I love it! But, the app to auto start has worked maybe 4 times in the last month I've had it. It says I may have used it more than twice and need to start it manually. I have not. Any tips? The dealership is an hour away and I'd rather not drive that far if it's a quick fix.

Hey Jennifer! The Mitsubishi app has an odd feature that requires you to manually start your vehicle if you've sent two consecutive remote start commands from the My Mitsubishi Connect App or if you have not started your vehicle's engine in the last 15 days. So if you've started it twice in a row without actually driving away or went on vacation you'll need to physically start the vehicle yourself in order to use the app again to remote start I know you mentioned you haven't used the app to start so the only fix you could try without going to the dealer would be to remove your vehicle from the app and then re-connect it to see if that solves the problem

I was wondering how to shut off the auto fold mirrors. They don't always fold in and seem kind of random when they do or don't. I live where the winters are quite cold so I really don't want them freezing closed or have the motors burn out.

There was a way for owners to disable it in previous models but the 2022/2023 require a dealer to do it...

Yes there is a setting (in my 2023 Outlander) that allows you to turn off the folding mirrors. In face there must be TWO settings for that because I had the exact same problem as you with random folding mirrors - one would fold but not the other and vice versa etc. I turned it off in the settings and it still did that random folding thing. I took it in and the dealer told me it was just a setting. When I got the car back it was fixed. There must be a second setting that also controls the mirrors and that might explain why it is sporadic. Anyhow, just ask your dealer to set it for you. I was going to disable it for the same reason as you, but once it began to work reliably after the dealer changed something, I have left it to auto fold and really like it.

There is.. it's the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance that was established in the late 1990s! Haven't gotten in behind the wheel of a Nissan recently but it's on the list

There would be an icon in the cluster for sure. Try an OBD2 reader to see if it's giving you any error codes or have it booked in for a service appt. It's definitely not normal for it to just randomly not start

Oh, la alerta trasera en la parte inferior, la que muestra 5 puntos rojos, es para los cinturones de seguridad. Sin embargo, no creo que uno pueda estar discapacitado. Sin embargo, debería desaparecer después de 30 a 45 segundos, a menos que alguien en el asiento de atrás no se haya abrochado el cinturón de seguridad.

I recently purchased an Outlander (2023 mdel) and there is no navigation map, I have to plug my phone in and it then reads Google maps.....bit disappointed.

Remaining fuel in mileage is shown on the bottom, just to the left of the speedometer.. There is no mute button on the steering wheel though
