What?? Look at this video starting at .33. No mention of the still famous 1984 Car Review magazine Round 1 shootout pitting a 1970 GS Stage 1 vs. 1970 GTX Hemi. Those two exact same cars were featured in this display as they appeared on the cover of the March 1985 Car Review that covered this "shootout" back then where the Buick blew doors. That race really shook the musclecar world and brought the GS Buick into prominence after the earlier GTX owner claimed in the magazine letters column that the Buick GS "ran like it was tied to a tree". How many of you remember this? The next day, this display drew a constant crowd of visitors.

What is the definition of "Muscle Car"?

Good question. It can be a hazy term. To me and many others the term should be simply "musclecar" as a specific noun and not a *two word* adjective descriptor. It's generally acknowledged as a high performance intermediate with a back seat. That generally excludes "pony cars" and "sports cars", but others include these, too . Again, what I say here is a generally accepted definition.

@@andyfrance1514 Not so, Andy. Maybe some private sales, but who knows? I was THERE and remember seeing absolutely no "For Sale" signs. I hung around with some of these Buick guys and I personally saw a high roller wearing a "Mecum" shirt offer Richard Lasseter with the 1970 GS Stage 1 ( :33 in the video ) a VERY high 6-figure offer for his car. I was shocked at the offer, but it was all about that car's history. He flatly turned it down saying "sorry, it's not for sale".
