2022 NTM Bin Lorry Collecting Apartment Bins In Swindon

Hi, this video Features a 2022 Isuzu N75 with a NTM K-SERIES Body. This truck is collecting apartment black bins (general waste) in a narrow back alley in Swindon. I belive this truck is a hire truck from CTS Hire. I don't think the council still has it though.

That is a cool little truck. Great job, great find. The rubber flap on the back of the bin lift seems a little redundant; I guess it would keep in large objects but smaller things will easily fall out. shame the lights are where they are so it could not be mounted to the hopper. Keep up the great work.

Thanks. I just happened to see it on one of my random days out. At least they have something to stop rubbish from falling out. It could be a good thing it not being mounted to the body as that makes it a bit more different.

@@BinandChill You're right, it might be a good thing it not being mounted to the body. I've seen some low entry Australian rear load rubbish trucks which have similar flaps at the same location, but they are mounted to the body. The operators spend a lot of time kicking the flap to get the stuff that has fallen between the layers back into the truck.

I saw one of these for sale last week, if money wasn't an obstacle I'd have got it and set myself up as an independent collector.

Not a bad idea. You can get trucks for quite cheap it is the permits and yard which costs a tonne.

You can do that it just lifts the bin as normal
