I want to see that green one! Thats an oddball color. This one is nice, but one thing bugged me about it. Not bug, but...I got spoiled with the chicken lights you add at the bottom of the cab and sleeper lol.

Here's a question since Ive been out of things for a while...Do these new trucks have that blue additive that shuts the truck down if you run out? I know in europe they call it adblue. Its supposedly anti pollution but from the fleets I heard of, all it does it keep engines driving up to about 300k and then theyre toast, in some cases warping heads, cracking blocks on all that. I think they made gliders illegal now too, although all that means is that you have to do a resto-mod, using the old block and a new cab, guts, etc. Why have Paccar sell one to you already done.

That is what we call here the DEF tank. Same stuff. It's injected into the exhaust system after the turbo. So it doesn't get into the motor. Cummins X15's are doing very well and go way past 300K miles.

@@RockyMountainPeterbilts Oh so we do use it. Im trying to remember what the main issue was with them. This was on buses, so it could be a stop and go issue, and it was on Mercedes which are not the greatest but def not the worst in the EU market, yet the engines were failing left and right on the Euro6 pollution standard. The euro5 still run. I am curious, what happens if you dont use the def tank?

Why are all these trucks 18 speed versus 13 speed that my younger brother swears by.He is a Western man.

Because they are the same price. So for the same price why not have an 18. A 9, 13 and 18 are all the same transmissions. The only difference is the thumb splitter.....none on the 9, a red one to split the top end on a 13 and a gray one to split both top and bottom gears on an 18.
