2022 Skoda Kodiaq RS Review

In 2018 I bought a fully optioned Sportline 140kw diesel, with adjustable dampers and driving modes. At the time it was the highest spec available, as the VRS wasn’t available yet. After 210,000km (I do a lot of miles) this car is a trooper. The only thing I’ve replaced is tyres. It’s so versatile. I’ve driven through snow, mud up to the door sills and more often than I thought, used 7 seats loaded with adults. I only wished they’d still make the diesel because the torque and economy (6.2 litres/100km after 200k), makes this a fantastic car.

Big smile and thumbs up fot the "ough sound" ;) I went for a test drive yesterday, because I want to buy one. I own VW Arteon which is speced quite nice (almost all features except awd and 270 bhp) and I wouldn't want a second wehicle to stand back. And I must say it was a nice surprise to drive that Kodiaq RS. I liked it very very much :) Thanks for the review, it helped me to make up my mind.

Mine is coming in 5 days!I ordered mine from Skoda since i kinda hate the looks of the new Kodiaq so i'll just be using this as my family car for hopefuly 4 years at least

Hi Davey I bought a velvet red sportline with the works and must say it’s a great car. I find it quiet-and smooth on the road, I’ve the 20 inch Vega wheels so maybe they have a higher profile. Great review

Have the old diesel VRS and it's been great for what I need and the torque is addictive. This VRS should have had the 206kw motor from the Superb though. If Skoda did a Karoq VRS with the TRoc R or Formentor spec motor though, that's definately where my money would be going for the overal size and interior.
