2022 Stock Honda Ruckus Top Speed - Top Speed Test

I have a 2017 Ruckus, original owner. My top speed is 37 mph. Was told by dealer that it has a Governor that cuts in at 37, and If I disconnected it that alteration would void my warranty. So tinker all you want but realize that you have cratered your warranty. I bought it for a fun ride, not to make it a hot rod! In my state, since it is under 50 cc, I do not have to buy a tag, get insurance, and it is not registered with the state so no tax on it. Saves me a lot of govm’t red tape and money. I weigh in at 220 lbs. and it gets 90 mpg, saving me $$ at the gas pump too! In my town the speed limit is 35 mph, so I can run it flat out nearly all the time!
