Gotta remember also that Mike Aitken is a trail rider, so his signature seat really isn’t meant to be too cushy. Big BMX companies should really get on the ball with producing more big bike XL seats for us out here.

The gusset on the down tube is the same as ‘21 model. Looks like it’s the same exact bike but with new color way. I love my High C. It’s legit my go-to of my collection.

Thanks for the info on that! You ever notice a clicking issue when pedaling? I’ve taken the BB apart twice and adjusted the chain as well as checked the crank/sprocket bolt. I can’t seem to get rid of the noise. It’s subtle and doesn’t effect performance but would really like to get rid of it. Thanks

@@Greg9242 already changed them with spindle instead of bearings. Also popped out the bearings and checked the spacer. There was no grease inside so I thought for sure it was the issue. Put new bearings and greased really well in the bottom bracket along with the pedals and a new sprocket 28t and and the noise I hear is still there. I’m now under the impression that it has to be the freewheel or the only other thing it could be possibly but doubtful is just the spacer flexing between the bearings.

Hey man. I got the same bike about a week ago. Check your front head tube. They left a rolled up piece of sheet metal in mine and they said it was what they use to not get paint on the inside of the head tube. I doubt yours has one in there but if I was you I’d check.

Check out the fizik terra aidon eMTB saddle. It’s a short saddle designed for electric bikes but it’s awesome for wheelies since it has a bit of a kick tail. I got the 160mm wide one and it looks great on the bike.

Thanks Matty! I will look into that seat and the head tube JIC. Do you notice any weirdness when you pedal? Also just loosen the rail bolt on the seat post and it will loosen the quarter circle area that allows you to adjust the tilt.

The stock chain is pretty trash swapping that out helped me out a lot but also remember to check the brakes mine needed a set up because it was rubbing the wheel causing what felt like tight spots

Yes it was. Was supposed to be a different seat however they must be out so they gave an alternative seat.

Hey, I'm about to pull the trigger on high c 29e, but I saw a framed 29er for a couple $100 cheaper. I'm just cruising with the kids. Which is the better buy? I'm 6'2 330lbs. Haven't rode bmx in over 30 years.

The framed is a good bike. If it’s just for cruising then it’ll be good. The high c is definitely better quality. Can’t go wrong either way!

Gt pro series is nice but for a few hundred more you’ll get a top of the line bike. I really like my high c almost more than my GT world tour!

Oh for sure! Depends on the type of tricks you wanna do, but for cruising and wheelies and 180/360s and stuff the 29” would be great.
