2022 Te250i FINALLY! So Crisp and So Clean Clean. Amazing what some expert adjustments can do...

Got my bike back after some early troubles and its now running so crisp and clean. Absolute pleasure to ride it how it was intended to be setup.
Shame it took so much mucking around to get it how it should always have been.
Solutions: 1) Using a different spark plug - ngk zgr7gi-13g which burns hotter 2) new head gasket that is at middle of the tolerance rather than the too thick one from factory which now aklows more compression 3) idle screw mod that can be adjusted 4) internal power valve adjustment and external power valve adjustment. 5) less oil on air filter to allow more air flow 6) Air screw adjustment
Running amazingly now. So happy with the other Mechanic/dealer. Thank God there's two in town

My gas gas ex250 was great right out of the box. Sorry you had some issues with yours.

Just rode my 78th hour this morning. It's a very good bike. Nimble, powerful, ergonomics are spot on, suspension I haven't touched. Very happy. I've done the Rekluse and TSP Power kit bike so it's pretty much perfect

@@GetVarged Great to hear that! I heard there were some issues with these tpi bikes, but maybe only for the 18 and 19 models. I think i’ll just go look for one and make a test ride and see how it feels. Did you change the power valve with that power kit or just a flatter head for more compression?

@@DonGH97 Medium comp head. Ecu reflash, adjustable idle screw addition, power valve is screwed out flush but no parts changed. Honestly reckon I'd go the cheapest Rekluse over TSP upgrade if I had to choose. But very happy with both. I also changed the rear sprocket to 2 tooth smaller. Still loads of usable power just a bit smoother takeoff and longer gears
