I am picking up my X Plaid on Saturday (previously had a 2019 X). My understanding with the new one is that you can just use your phone for all the same functions and not need the Key FOB anymore

You could always use your phone for most things, but previously the X had to have a network connection. Now it can do things over Bluetooth. They stopped issuing the fobs with the vehicle this Summer, it's an extra $175

It’s true hold the key fob for 3 seconds and the car lights would start flashing at you front of key fob to go up back of it to go back you can change how you use tho like you have to hold the key fob if you let go the car would stop or you can have it when you hit stop one time

Totally agree about the frunk. Wtf?! $150k car, everything automatic, but then I have to put hand prints all over the hood to close the trunk. I didnt think it would bother me as much as it does

I think it has something to do with safety. They probably don’t want the drunk to accidentally open and block vision when driving

@@POGAuto Do not think it's plaid...it has a woodgrain dash and no plaid badge. If not a six seater it is not plaid. Matters not, it's a great vehicle.
