After almost a year of waiting, we finally got our Tesla Model Y! This is some footage of our delivery day. We're beyond excited!
This model was assembled in the Fremont factory.

I've had mine for close to 2 years and 34k miles and still brings a smile to my face every time I get in and drive. Just getting to the first set of tires.... otherwise no other maintenance... other than the wiper fluid

how did you find the suspension? I read they upgraded/updated the suspension so the car doesn't drive as hard. what was you opinion on the ride quality. Nice to see you didn't have any build issues that bothered you. Thanks for sharing your experience.

It rides great to us. We’re coming from a rough riding Toyota Tacoma, so anything would be an improvement. It’s a very comfortable ride, though.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks also. To me, it doesn’t have a lot of road noise. Granted, I’m used to riding in a Toyota Tacoma.

Congratulations! Out of curiosity, did you make changes to your order after placing your order, like changing the color? That's a long wait or did you push the delivery once? Also, does your vin# contain 7SA? Thanks.

We didn’t make any changes to the order, and we didn’t push the date back. We didn’t know that you had to put in all the information right away, so that’s what I think delayed us. We heard another YT channel mention it, so we put the info in and that’s when things started moving faster. And yes, our vin starts with 7SA.

@@BandVE Thanks for the info. I placed my order for a Tesla Y LR 7STR white on black FEB2022, current EDD is OCT30 - NOV13, expecting the vin any day now. I'm in Canada 🇨🇦. Congrats again on the beauty. Are you going to get PPF for the car? I ended up buying the TUXMAT mats for the car already. Check them out. Cheers.

@@BandVE Did your EDD shrink to a week apart before you received your VIN? How soon after receiving the VIN did you take delivery?

We received the vin about two weeks prior to delivery. It came about three days earlier than expected.
