The entire FPO division is so strong now It's awesome to watch. 6 or 7 years ago you could figure you would be watching Paige, Catrina, Sarah or Val Jenkins with Madison or Jessica thrown in there from time to time. Now? WOW what a field. :-D

Nice to see more parity in the FPO division this year. Last year it was the Paige and Cat show with a little Kristin sprinkled in as the top players shooting under par. Now the competition has stepped up in a big way. Awesome

The 3 best women in the world (it's not even close) at the end. Love seeing it. Can't wait for Salonen and Blomroos to figure it out so we have more women at that elite Paige, Cat and Tattar level.

I have always loved watching Cat and Paige play. What makes me so excited about Kristen joining the tour is she has a completely different style of play then them, and it's a joy to watch. We don't see many forehands from Paige and Cat, Tattar has a deadly one. And I love her straddle putts, lasers. It's been tough to watch Salonen because she throws the disc so well, but really takes herself out of it on the putting greens. Hope she figures it out

Damn, I get being aggressive but essentially if Catrina just plays edge of curb instead of over the road on 18 she wins? Kristin too. Exciting finish but hard to watch. I guess that makes for a good finishing hole though.
@connangus2076
@connangus2076 2 жыл бұрын
What is your logic there ? Paige was up 1 going into 18 and birdie'd the hole. Kristen or Cat would have had to eagle the hole to send it to a playoff. I think you must have missed something.
@Bussipysakillah
@Bussipysakillah 2 жыл бұрын
Cat was two behind Paige and one behind Kristin and Paige was going to play for eagle too. She had to go for it and hope Paige and Kristin both make mistakes. Edit:. In retrospect, I think you meant to say Paige and not Catrina. In that case, yes, surprising Paige didn't play it safe. And when se didn't, she could have run that putt for us.
@bensalemi7783
@bensalemi7783 2 жыл бұрын
@@Bussipysakillah With the landing area of 18 being on that steep slope, throwing short off the tee isn’t really all that safe a play. Especially given that Paige was then able to take the slope out of play on the next shot

Get Holly Finley on the DGN live main FPO commentary. She really has good vocabulary describing the technical challenges as well as the exciting moments. Best FPO commentator by far.

Strongly diagree here. She is way too unprofesional (I know i wrote that wrong) and acts more like a fan or a cardmate than an actual commentator.

Holly Finley has an amazing vocabulary, keeping me smiling for the round. About the advertisment pedestals under the baskets; the black ones look like upside-down waste baskets, so, not cool. But I like that they make a wider target to slow down great shots.

Great coverage, great tournament, love to see the FPO progressing so much and so quickly. However this absolutely needs to be said, Holly's commentary is very hard to listen to. Saying "dude" and "bro" every other shot on lead card coverage is just not professional at all. When every single decent drive you're like "wow" "these girls crush", it takes away from the actual amazing shots that deserve such a reaction. And routing for every shot to be great and being like "no no no" on every bad shot is not your job, you're not a fan or a spectator. I could go on but I don't want to be too rude about it, I literally had to end up muting it and watching without sound though it was so bad.
@jessekummer1435
@jessekummer1435 2 жыл бұрын
I do agree the commentary from Holly could have been more understated. The 'no no no's' were rough and this round there really wasn't a moment where the viewer could just watch the golf being played. Instead of commenting on every shot in detail and explaining it to the audience, I think the commentary would benefit if it the majority of shots received brief comments and only really highlighted the truly exceptional ones along with occasionally sprinkling in statistics as Madison did. Hokom and Madison and Erika and Elaine King do this really well. They sometimes walk a line between commentary and being fans/friends of the players, but they rarely if ever cross it. Lovely answers by Paige at the end and nice interview by Terry. Great coverage as always of course.

well, wbryant81 see what it means, How that foot-fault penalty on Allen would have made a difference. One stroke means something, I wonder what out-right 2nd place money is verses tied 2nd place money is. and just to say, Allen may have not known she done it which I am sure is the case, but still one stroke makes a difference. would you rather 2nd place alone or tied 2nd. if you do it for a living or as your job???

@@OneHippiesMusings Well Chad, it is funny how woke people nowadays want to get offended by someone making a plain observation. I feel sorry for people like you. see me and my friends play also, but we play by the rules. In tournaments and casual play. I am sure she didn't see or notice it herself, still doesn't mean it didn't happen and would have made a difference in her finish too.
