2022 TF - CIF-ss FINALS - 400 Meters (Boys, all 4 divisions)

This is all four Boys divisional championship 400 meter run races from the CIF-ss (Southern Section) Track and Field Finals meet held May 14 at Moorpark High (CA). Races are run D4-D3-D2-D1 (smallest to largest schools). Athletes compete for divisional team and individual titles as well as the opportunity to proceed to the Masters meet on May 21 to decide qualifiers for the CIF State track meet. The top 9 athletes across all four heats were:

In the 2nd race, seven boys beat the times of all the women who ran the 400 at the Tokyo Olympics, in 2020. The gold medal there was given to a woman who ran a 50.5, and Allyson Felix got the bronze with 50.8.
