I am anxiously awaiting our Aldi opening this Spring. I hope they still have decent prices. I saw a tin of those Royal Dansk Butter Cookies at Walgreens the other day ON SALE 2/$8 or $4.99 each! I remember not too many years ago they were $1 and were the "go to" thank you gifts (along with a couple of huge tins of popcorn ... I think they were $5) for each nurses' station at the hospital where I worked. I like the pretzel-shaped ones, too and the other one with the coarse sugar. Usually, by the time night shift got there, though, the cookies were gone, and only plain popcorn was left LOL I also saw a small tin of the cookies for $1 ... the tin was a little bit larger than a CD. This is the first time I've seen the tiny tins.

Falon, I got my first Christmas popcorn bucket today! I love those Danish butter cookies. I remember years ago, I bought a tin of chocolate chip cookies that were made by the same company. They were delicious too. Do you remember those star chocolates? They came in a wooden basket. I have a hack that cuts back on those little soap bottles. I have a large shampoo bottle with a pump and I buy those hand soap refills to fill it up with.
