2022 Toyota Raize G vs Toyota Avanza E -Which one is the right vehicle for you? -WIth test drive

If the Raize was available 7 years ago when I needed a car for my daily commute then I would have chosen this one instead of the Wigo I bought for my first car. Now I no longer have to travel daily for work and our family's situation requires more storage space to accommodate 1 or 2 wheelchairs at the back. This makes the avanza a better fit for my family at this point. At the end of the day it all boils down to what you and/or your family needs. Your insights are all on point. Thanks for sharing.

I'm currently choosing between the Raize Turbo or the Avanza G. The Raize will suit me and my driving personally but I also have a small family now. I'm also considering a bigger vehicle just in case we need to go out of town with my wife's family as well. Right now, I'm still going for the Raize since it's driver centric and this review has helped me a lot

The Avanza tested had the 1.3 engine, but the Avanza also has a 1.5 engine variant and that model also has more features.

@@fullbass1426 In my country (Indonesia), Fortuner have 2 variants, Diesel and Gasoline, but the Gasoline version is full-time 4WD (just 4H - 4L and 4 Low Gear) doesn't have 2H mode like Diesel variant (Diesel have 2H - 4H - 4L and 4 Low Gear)

May bad experience ako sa raize g. Naka park ako naka neutral while naka andar makina. Lumabas ako para may kunin sa lab clinic. Needless to say, d na bumakas ang pinto maski ginamitan pa ng susi. I had to wait for rescue from toyota. Na resolve nila from 10am to 5pm. All that while naka andar ang kotse.

since both are budget cars, one is a 5 seater another is 7seater. depends on the family. if they are parents +2 kids pwede na 5 seater since oks naman yung boot. 7 seater avanza is for those who usually have a bigger family, or for hire. unless you have a roof rack for the avanza, the rear boot wont be of much use since the rear seats are taking space.

I disagree with the part of sofa mode in Avanza, that doesn't stop it from being spacious and its versatility, medyo bias ka ng kaunti sa raize hahaha

Para sa mga hindi nakaka intindi maaring maniwala sa comparo na to..isipin mo dun na lang sa 1.2 liter vs. 1.3 liter pano nanalo ang raize. The mere fact na Avanza is an MPV the comparison is clearly bias.

I appreciate the comparo but this is not the right comparo. Both targets different audience. Both are different types of vehicle, one is an MPV and one is a sub-compact crossover. You can only compare them in their price and that's it The right comparo should be Avanza vs Rush
