great review - you did especially well talking about the rear seating - most people overlook that. Thanks!

Most helpful review I've seen. The "lane tracing" is an important feature for us, but your review is the only one I've seen that demonstrated it. We have an Audi that does a great job of it and have found it really reduces fatigue on road trips. As of October '22, it's really difficult to find a new Ram with that option due to the chip shortage. So we just put money down on a 1794.

Thanks for the kind words! As our channel grows and we get more resources to do test drives we hope to do more content like this! It really is a great feature, congrats on the ram!

Great review and video ! In many ways this new Tundra is better compared to the out going model, just wish Toyota would offer a V8 as a option.
@GasGuzzlers2 жыл бұрын
Andre Gonsalvez thanks! It really is a cool truck! The V8 would be nice but there’s no arguing with the power that truck puts out! They worked some magic with that twin turbo V6

It probably just needs a system update but how does the jbl sound system sound because I wanted to get your take on it
@GasGuzzlers2 жыл бұрын
Could very well be! Sound system was good- not too much to write home about, would be great if Toyota could get the Mark Levinson label from their big brothers at Lexus!

@@GasGuzzlers hey Jake I know you told me that you were letting your hair grow out on your other video so my idea of what you could do if you're still letting it grow is get a curling iron and curl your hair or you can twist it whatever you want to do and hopefully this doesn't sound weird

Great video guys but maybe just a little misleading. The mirrors on this truck are the larger tow mirrors, not the standard chrome mirrors that are original to the 1794 design. The tow mirrors have a switch that allows you to fold the mirrors in when parking in the city. I am pretty sure that if an 18-wheeler can drive through the city, this truck can too.

Perhaps the Tundra you have needs a software update because the Lexus NX which uses the same infotainment system can actually set the driver's seat temperature to 72 degrees and a lot more.
@marksplayground2 жыл бұрын
NOpe. I just got my 1794 and it also will not set temp and tells me that feature is not available.
@romairoblackstock51002 жыл бұрын
@@marksplayground well then perhaps that feature is reserved for Lexus vehicles only

Interesting on the "luxury" features. GM only allows $50 for the deletion of the heated seats! I saw a deletion of the "cooled" seats and that was only worth $25 to the manufacturer! Of course, (assuming not standard) if you options these "luxury" features the manufacturer charges a heckuva lot more. I just can't see a justification for the $60,000 price. Mainly because lesser trim models can be had for something in the $40's and the "upgrades" would only represent differential costs (incremental). The assembly costs probably don't vary that much, yet the end price is $20K more. Is that really a reasonable profit price or is that "hey the market will pay it, so let's charge it" price?

This Tundra never towed a space ship nor drove through wild fires or has driven a million miles. This is not the Tundra we have come to know and love. Time will tell if it will live up to its predecessor, I’m not hopeful.

I have the same issue with the climate control. VERY disappointing, especially for the money I paid for the truck.
