I appreciate this video, but wanted to share my own experience with the same problem. I took it to the dealer twice, and of course they couldn’t get it to replicate. I actually figured out that the rattle was coming from that piece of black plastic you removed from behind the door handle. I took the part off and I didn’t hear the rattle anymore. I got on Amazon and bought some felt with adhesive tape on one side, put the felt on the back of the plastic piece, reinstalled, and I don’t hear it anymore.
@bjc2430 Жыл бұрын
If you tap on that piece with your fingers, it actually has some give to it. It’s not a tight fit, which is why it made noise with any bass or road vibrations. Why they designed it like that is beyond me.

I took my new 2024 Toyota Tundra to the dealership for the same rattle noise. The technician said he didn’t hear anything. I played my juke box hero a few times and the base starts moving something inside the door that even after you lower the music now every bump starts rattling. We were able to duplicate the rattle. Technician and I drove a trd pro and did the exact same thing or even worst rattle than my truck. He said it’s normal characteristics of the truck and there for there isn’t nothing they can do. I will have to fix this myself know. Hope I don’t break something now. Stupid Toyota. 70 thousand dollars. Anyways thanks for your video.

@TEW11577 ай бұрын
Thank you HOWEVER I did break 2 nubs off the first piece of plastic removed. And after al this, it still rattles. The rattling comes from the door trim around the upper part of the door + the mirror. Awesome vide though because without it, I wouldn't have even known how to remove the door panel at all and would have broken more. Love the truck but jeez it rattles all over. So frustrating.

Nice video. Just got a 23 platinum and will keep this in mind if the door rattling becomes too much. Otherwise I just tune the bass down when needed. Do you have any noise or creaking in the headliner induced by the road? It should be, yes. And I have read on forums that some people have been able to get their dealers to fix it doing something similar to what I did.
